She even made her brother make a wish upon a dandelion. Now we have Esmeralda...
Esmeralda I woke up with a start, followed by a long loud gasp that left me panting hard. Sitting upright immediately, I stared into space, gasping for breath recalling the vent of my nightmare flashed through my head. Except it was a panic attack caused by the she-devil herself. Her claws dragged me into the darkness with my body bound by silver chains, leaving me no room for escape. It hurt. It burned, so bad that my skin peeled. And fresh droplets of my blood splashed on me, and her. Her snaky tongue found its way in the darkness, licking each drop of my blood, hungrily, almost draining me completely, like a starved vampire sucking the blood of its victim. I screamed and pleaded, but it wouldn't stop her torture. My agonizing screams sounded like pleasant music to her ears, satisfying her troubled soul. And my blood tasted like fine wine on her tongue, causing muffled moans and groans out of her lips. She enjoyed it. She enjoyed me. But as if that was not enough
Kade Surprise swept me off my feet as I stared at Amelia's face. Her words threw me off balance. Mate? I think I needed one. One who was paired with me by the Moon goddess. One who could understand and share my feelings, pains, and happiness. The one I would love to call mine, forever. But I think the Moon goddess hated me for depriving me of a mate when I turned eighteen. I could still remember the night of my birthday party and the Moonball ceremony where I had practically sniffed the hell out of the unmated females, but none sent my wolf into a state of frenzy with her scent, not even nearly. Was it my nose? Was my sense of smell not activated? It had to be my nose. I had kept my hope alive, hoping my nineteenth birthday would be different, but the Moon goddess crushed my feelings again, making my expectations dash against the hard rock of pain and bitterness. How could I not find my mate out of thousands of people in attendance? Who was she? Where was she hiding?
Phoebe When the going gets tough, only the tough get going. With those words, I navigated my way into the woods, alone at midnight. The battle was getting tougher and tougher by the day. But I would never back off. I was tough. And only the tough ones could survive. Despite the scary sight in the woods, nothing would make me back off. Not even a monster with twelve heads. I had started this journey alone and I would finish it successfully on my own. A whine in my head followed by a protest rolled a light chuckle from my lips. Kruella was jealous! "Fine, we are together in this, jealous bitch," I snapped, a satisfying pur left her throat. Sneaking out of the house never posed to be an issue, but for some strange reason, dad's presence hovered around the house, monitoring my movement. Forgiveness. Forgiveness was what he pleaded. And after I assured him of my forgiveness, followed by a kiss on his forehead, he melted away in his room. Same with Esmeralda. That bit
PhoebeMy eyes bulged, almost popping out of their sockets and a loud gasp escaped from my lips as a thundering voice echoed from the top of the mountain, vibrating the woods and shaking the trees to their roots.Shapeshifting into my wolf form, I ran up the mountain for easy movement. Climbing the mountain in my human form would be a waste of time. Once I got to the top, I fell on my face as a bright light shone in my direction. "Arise and follow me," A voice said, snapping me out of my thoughts. I couldn't miss the scorn laced in her voice. It was so obvious, I could taste it. Could she be...No!Sabrina could shapeshift into many things, but shapeshifting into this ugly bitch was the last thing she would do. Following her lead, as we took long strides to the top of the mountain that looked like a big town, I couldn't help but notice some witches pinning me with a scornful glare. Their eyes bored holes behind my back as I made my way into their midst. The hate was obvious. It w
PhoebeTaken aback by her words, a dazed look of bewilderment crossed my face, my eyes darted around as if looking for answers."Kill the firstborn to become the firstborn?" I repeated, pinning my gaze on her for clarification. A smile spread across her face, washing away my doubts, "Yes, darling. You mentioned that it was hereditary. Also, know that it can be transferred from one person to another if the person in possession of the power is dead. Since your half-sister is the firstborn, you can get rid of her, and when you do so, you become the firstborn and...boom! Your powers will begin to manifest. Your hair will be in a beautiful shade of strawberry," Her long thin hands ran through my caramel-coloured hair. "Just like that?" A surprised look swept across my face, leaving my eyes widening with imagination. "Yes, just like that," Her smile grew wider as she cupped my face in her hand.Considering how gullible she was, killing her was an easy task. I couldn't wait. "But you mu

Esmeralda Dashing out of the room as fast as my slender legs could carry, I couldn't stop the tears that poured freely from my eyes, threatening to blind my vision. Why was he mad? What did I do wrong? He wouldn't even let me explain. Why was he always complicated? What is wrong with him? For a few seconds, I thought it was all a joke. I thought his scrunched-up face would soften and be filled with soft smiles while he told me that it was a prank. But not until I saw a bright ring forming in his eyes. Unusual. My eyes widened and a muffled scream tore off my mouth as his large dark eyeballs glared angrily at me, causing every air on my back to stand erect. A terrifying growl from him sent my back against the hard wall of his room, making me crash to the floor, lifelessly, like a pack of cards. My heart raced at an unusual pace, threatening to jump out of my little chest as he proceeded nearer and nearer to where I sat, violently shaking in fear. The sight was scary.
Esmeralda Stifling a horrifying scream for the fear of being heard. I sprinted past the hallway in no time, running like the wind with horror plastered on my face like I had seen a ghost. Truly, I had just seen and heard one. A ghost was in the North wing! What was that fuck was that? A ghost. Certainly, that wasn't a ghost. "Help me," It's voice filled my head once more, confirming my doubt. Ghosts don't ask for help. That must be a human. A human was trapped in the North wing. But by who? Alpha Kade? I hope it wasn't my psycho mate. Was the human his prisoner? I wondered what offence the person committed. A human was trapped in the North wing. I was sure it was a human. Despite being horrified by those faint words, I took a risk turning behind me to confirm I wasn't alone before dashing out of the room, but I was met with a chair, a huge one, made of strong iron, with chains tied around it. Despite the darkness of the room and the high chair, I could swear tha
