After the little session in the woods I ran away from Zacharias hold and  reached back to the palace where I saw my mother along with Asher looking after the wounded warriors after the battle with the hunters outside of the palace while I roamed my gaze in search for my sister Ashrina and my father Asheron because I know my sister must need me right now after what she just find out.

"Charles, where were you, honey? We were worried sick about you." mom came running towards me making me roll my eyes and shake my head.

"No, you weren't. You knew very well where I was." I replied earning a grin from her " So, where is dad and Ashrina? I know she must be heartbroken right now." 

" She is upstairs in her room with your dad and won't stop crying. I think you should go and try to comfort her becuause she only talks to you hwne she is upset. It's your sister code thing, right?" mom asked.

" I will go and check on her." I said and begin to leave when mom stopped me by grabbing me by my wrist and looked at me with an arched brow " I can understand that your sister has a really problem with your mate because he is the vampire hunter but what's your problem?

You mate is very acceptable, good looking and handsome, even well settled in business world and even in the kingdom because I have heard he runs his kingdom very smoothly and his whole kingdom loves him." mom asked " So, why are you trying to avoid him, to resist him, to reject him?"

" Mom, why can't you understand? He is not upto my expectations. We have got an age gap of centuries. He won't understand me. We won't share the same understanding and if there is no understanding in the relationship then it is meant to be ruined and end only. I had fantasies of my own."

" The share with him. Talk to him. Instead of pushing him away. Get to know him and give this relationship a chance and if things doesn't ork out then you both can decided. It's upto you. I am not forcing you to choose him by force. I am just telling you to not let the best things go in life. Look at your sister. She has found her mate close to her age but he is the biggest enemy of our kind." mom tries to reason then looked up and down at my disheveled state with a smirk on her face.

" And, by the looks for your state I can tell the things are going to work out. Listen, I love you Char, but I don't want you to worry your father by your side because he is already stressed out with Ashrina's situation and I don't want to stress him more.

You father knows Zacharias very well and approve of him as your mate. He is happy by your side so please don't make him upset than he already is. Share everything with me. I am here for you. I am your mother and you will always find me by your side no matter what. Try to get to know him and if you think it can't work out then I promise that I will be there for you to end this here."

" Thanks, mom. I appreciate it. So, do you really think I should give this a chance? Give Zacharias a chance? I am confused, mom."

" Do you find him hot?" mom asked with a smirk.

" Yes," I replied.

" Handsome?" she asked.

"Yes,"

You are attracted to him, find him hot and handsome and even make you wet as I must say then you should definitely go for him because he is the right man for you. Get to know him and with that said I am out before your father comes to know that I am finding my daughter's mate hot."

She winks making me groan and jealous of my own mom over my mate. I know she is kidding because my mom is smitten by dad and head over heels in love with him that she even gave her life for him and become a vampire. I walked towards my sister's room when my phone pinged with a text message in my hand bringing a smile on my face when I read it and blushed at the same time.

I knew it was Zach because it is only him who calls me sugar and the initial Z.S confirms it. I typed back the response with a grin on my face.

" I don't remember ginving you my phone number, you jerk" I begin to press the send option when I didn't realize where I was walking and bumped into my dad causing my phone to fall on the floor while my dad caught me on time preventing me from falling on my ass.

"Are you alright, my princess?" dad asked with a smile when he looks at me.

" Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going. My mind was on something else." I replied apologetically and begin to lean down to pick up my phone when my dad beats me to it and dang it the messaging window was still opened and my eyes landed on it making me blush and look anywhere but at him embarassed.

"So, he calls you sugar, huh?" dad asked in teasing tone placing my phone in my hand " Goodnight, princess. Have a goodnight while I will make sure no one breaks into my daughter's room tonight."

" Y..You have a goodnight too, dad." I didn't know what else to say " Is Ashrina awake?"

"Yeah, but I am afraid she wants to be alone right now. The more we try to talk to her about it the more she feels hurt so I have decided to give her space. You can always talk to her in the morning when she is feeling a little better."

" I guess you are right. I will head to my room and sleep. It's been a long day." I said chuckling and watched my dad look at me with an arched brow.

"I know you are not ready to start relationship with Zacharias but trust me, daughter. He is the right man for you. I won't ask for any better." dad said and leans down to kiss on my forehead " Although, I am with you if you want to play hard to get because he needs to prove himself to you because in the end it is you who is going to be spending the whole life with him. Not us."

" I love you, dad." I tell him. He smiles and nods his head.

" I love you too, princess. I love all of my children equally because your mother and you three means life to me and there is nothing I won't do for you all." dad murmurs and walked away. I smiled and turned around to head to my room. Once I reached and opened the door I stopped dead in my tracks and let out a gasp when I found a very naked man lying on my bed with a very huge and erect cock.

" YOU?! What are you doing in my room?" I asked glaring at him.
