Alpha John's POV:

"John, where are you coming from?" my mother asked as I walked back into the grand foyer. It featured high ceilings, grand staircases, and impressive architectural details and decor, such as chandeliers and large art pieces of my parents, my brothers, and me.

"Mom," I groaned, catching sight of Julian and James in the dining room. The guests had all left the house, and night had fallen.

"I went to check on something," I lied, avoiding her eyes.

"Why do I feel like you're not telling me the truth? Anyway," Mom said, her voice bubbling with excitement, "I have good news for you."

She added, and I scowled, "What's the good news, Mom?"

"Come over; let's sit at the dining table to talk before we have dinner. It's getting late," she said.

"Alright, Mom," I replied before following her to join my brothers at the table, where they sat discussing matters with our father, Alpha Sunny.

"So, John, your dad and I have decided that you should pick a chosen mate since you and your brothers haven't found your real mates. We went to the Silverado Pack and saw the pack princess. She's very beautiful and would make a good luna for you. She gave us a warm welcome, and she's a good girl too," Mom said, and I breathed out heavily.

"John, I know you'd prefer to be with your mate. But you and your brothers aren't getting any younger. You're 25-years-old. You need to get married—and after you, Julian, and lastly James," Mom said, her tone soft, making me sigh heavily.

"I'll need some time to think about this, Mom," I said, not wanting to dismiss her suggestion outright, but my wolf wouldn't approve of any other woman. I didn't know his reason for desiring Tonia, but like Julian said, she was a good plaything.

"That's fine. Once you approve of her, your father and I will invite her to come and pay you a visit," Mom said, her tone bubbling with excitement, and I forced a smile.

"What's her name, Mom?" Julian chimed in, his ears perked up with interest.

"Stephanie Bennett," Mom said, and I sighed.

"Fine. I'll need some time to think about her. When I decide, I'll give you my conclusion," I said, regardless of the fact that my wolf didn't approve of her.

James chimed in and asked, "Stephanie sounds good. What's her occupation, Mom? How old is she?"

Mom peered at us and said, "She's still a student, but she's training to be a nurse. I'm sure when she marries John, she can apply to work in our pack's hospital."

"Mmm," I scowled but didn't protest.

"That's fine. John will need to give it some thought. But for me, I want no other woman but my mate," Julian said, but Dad cut him off.

"Even you, Julian. I spoke to Elder Victor just now. He said his daughter doesn't have a mate, and he wants a good match for her. So I'll invite her to the palace to meet you. She's a lawyer, so I'm sure she'll be of better use working in our law firm," Dad said, his tone firm, and Julian's jaw dropped.

"Dad, you don't have the right to matchmake a woman for me. I have the right to pick my wife, not the one you want me to pick. My wolf won't accept her. Don't forget, I've always had an aversion to women," Julian said, but Dad scowled.

"Aversion to women, indeed. Do you think I'm not aware of what you do in the clubs and how you shamelessly host young women to sleep with them?"

"Dad…" Julian's jaw dropped in speechlessness; he hadn't expected Dad to say that.

"That's not true. I only visit the clubs to have a drink. I won't approve of any slander against me. Whoever told you that must provide proof of me hosting different women," Julian said, clearly pissed off, but Dad brushed him off.

"Now is not the time to provide proof. But get ready to meet Elder Victor's daughter by Monday. If I leave you boys to wait until you find your real mates, who knows how many unwanted babies are out there that you've fathered!" Dad spat, and our jaws dropped.

"Dad, that's not true. You have the wrong information," I said, but he cut me off too.

"I won't wait for any of you to make a choice. As the alpha and your father, my decision stands," Dad snapped, and we all fell silent.

"Fine. Do as you wish, Dad," I said, and he nodded.

Mom sighed and said, "I know you boys will have a say in it. But if you don't like these girls, we can invite more. Who knows—you might find your mate among them."

Mom sounded excited, but I didn't want to continue the conversation. The more we talked about mates, the more my mind wandered to Tonia Marco. Why was she always on my mind, even when I tried to reject her? Her tears, her pleading not to dump her, and how she pleasured my cóck. Before I could say a word, Julian cut in, "Mom, let's have our dinner. I don't want to discuss mates again."

"Alright, alright," she agreed and waved for the maids to bring our dinner.

After dinner, I rose to return to my room first, but my father stopped me.

"John, wait for me in my office. We have something important to discuss," Dad said. He always called on me as the oldest triplet, believing I'd relay what he had to say to my brothers.

"Alright, Dad," I replied calmly before going to my father's home office on the first floor to await his arrival.

A few minutes later, Dad walked into his office. His expression was frosty as he took his seat.

"What were you and your brothers doing while your mother and I were away? Do you think I'm not aware of what goes on under my roof?" Dad asked, and I lowered my head, avoiding his eyes.

Of course, he was the alpha, and he knew when I was lying.

"Take a look for yourself," Dad said. He turned on the flat-screen television in his office and set it to display the mansion's CCTV footage.

"John, I expected better from you. Just this one month that your mother and I traveled, you took turns sleeping with a maid." Dad paused the footage on the screen, and I couldn't reply.

Tonia's POV:"Oh my goodness, Tonia. Isn't that Alpha Julian's car?" my mother gasped, clutching my left arm tightly as she spotted the custom license plate on the back of the sleek vehicle.Taking a deep breath, I tried to steady my racing heartbeat, desperate not to let on that Alpha Julian had been the first man to mate with me."Yeah, that's Alpha Julian's car," I replied quickly, stealing a glance backward as the car glided down the road."Why didn't we spot it sooner? We could have begged him for mercy, asked him to forgive you and take you back to the palace," Mom said, her tone laced with disappointment. I stared at her in shock."Mom, I was dismissed by Alpha John, not Alpha Julian. I'm sure you don't want me to end up in jail," I told her, and she exhaled with relief."You're right. Come on, let's go. I have a friend who owns an upscale restaurant. I'm sure she'll be willing to offer you a job in the meantime, before your father secures a travel ticket for you to join the Si

(Tonia's POV)The morning sunlight seeped into my room, and I sprang up in bed. My body ached painfully, as if I'd been hit by a truck.Groaning, I got up and recalled the events of the previous Saturday night—getting thrown out of the palace like a thief in the dark.Shaking my head, I moved into the bathroom to bathe. The warm water soothed my body and made me feel better. When I stepped out of the bathroom, my door flung open—I hadn't locked it the night before—and my mother strode into the room. Her features were sharp, radiating an air of hostility."Good morning, Mom," I greeted her nervously."Morning, Tonia. Are you ready to tell us who you shamelessly mated with that made the Alphas kick you out? How are we sure you're not carrying a bastard in your womb?" Mom's blue eyes drifted away from my face and settled on my stomach. My hands instinctively flew to cover it."What? No, Mom. I'm on the pill, so I'm not pregnant.""What?" Mom gasped when she heard I'd mentioned being on t

Tonia's POV:"Why did you let her into this house?" Mom asked Dad, her voice stern as he strode into the living room.Dad heaved a sigh, peered at Mom's face, and replied, "It's late, honey. Just let Tonia stay for the night. After all, it's complicated, and we need to tread with caution to understand why she was dismissed from her job."Mom peered at my face angrily and said, "Mmm. What if she did something heinous and wants to implicate us? You can't brush it under the carpet that she got fired. I do not want Tonia in this house with us."Dad groaned and said, "We'll discuss it in the bedroom. Tonia, you can go to your room to sleep."Lowering my head, I made my way to my room. I had a personal room in the three-bedroom apartment where we lived. I could still hear my mother's voice arguing with my father about why he was being so lenient with me.Dad hadn't informed Mom about the check, nor had he told her that I'd slept with the triplet heirs. He knew it was a grave offense, and ev

Tonia's POV: "Tonia, where are you coming from?" Mom asked as I arrived home and knocked on the gate. It was a simple house with only three rooms, a parlor, and bathrooms. "Mom, I've been sacked from my job," I said, my gaze lowered—I had five siblings. "What? How can you get sacked only after going to work for a week? Why were you sent away this night? Did you steal from them?" Mom asked as my father stepped out. The rest of my siblings were boys, so they stayed inside and peered at me. "No, Mom. I…" I couldn't tell my parents the truth about why I'd been dismissed from the palace. They would be extremely disappointed in me, especially after learning what I'd done. "It's fine. Let her in. Tomorrow morning, we'll find out what she did wrong," my father said while my mother stood aside, watching me. "Are you sure you didn't steal from the alpha's mansion? Why does your voice sound so sad, and why are you crying?" Mom asked as she moved closer to me. "Answer me. I won't allow yo

Tonia's POV: After the triplets left my room, I was broken and weak as I lay on the bed sobbing. Tears streamed down my cheeks. I wanted to be their mates—their luna. But they didn't want me. The way they reminded me that it wasn't my place to be any of their mates, that my role was only as a maid. Even as an omega, I had big dreams of getting a better job. After Alpha Julian invited me to his room first, though I hadn't thought of capturing their hearts, being among them had given me hope and the assurance that I would be their luna. But they rejected me—even if it wasn't an official rejection. They made it clear to my face that they didn't want me. With Luna Josephine and Alpha Sunny back from their wedding anniversary trip to the Silverado Pack, I knew I had to prepare myself to focus on my job to avoid losing it. Getting out of bed, I went to the bathroom to bathe and wash off the triplets' scent. When I got out and dressed in a black nightdress after drying my body, I looked

Alpha John's POV: "I contacted your beta, Saul, to find out what you were involved in, and he said you were busy. Busy with what? The maids. Do you want me to order her death and reveal this to your mother?" Dad demanded and I couldn't speak. "Answer me, John." "Dad, we already broke up with her. So there's no need to involve Mom," I croaked, fearing Tonia's life. I didn't want her to die. Dad looked at me furiously as he sat across from me. "I don't want to see that maid in this palace again, and since this hasn't happened before, I'll let it slide. But ensure you send her away. If I get another report of you sleeping with any of the palace maids, you'll be stripped of your position as alpha, and your cousin, Justin Wyatt, will take over from you and your brothers," Dad concluded, and I nodded. "Alright, Dad. I'll take care of it and let Julian and James know," I said, and he nodded. "Good. One more thing: You have to accept Stephanie Bennett as your chosen mate since you have
