Chapter Five

Tonia's POV:

I pulled the bedsheet up to cover my chest as Alpha John stood at the door and shut it heavily. His brown eyes glared daggers at me. He strode to my bed, and I shifted back, afraid he was going to strangle me.

"What hold do you have on my brothers and me? Make it stop!" he growled, but James stepped out of the bathroom, tying my towel around his waist, and ordered his brother, "Cut it out, John. She's not to be accused. Just let her be. I believe when we find our mate, it will end. If you don't want her, you can leave."

I was supposed to feel better, but hearing James mention finding his mate hurt me. I wanted all three of them to pleasure them alone—to become their luna. Why couldn't they choose me? My lips trembled as I tried to croak out the words, "Why can't I be your mate?"

John's expression darkened, but James laughed and walked over to pick up his shorts. As he dressed, he looked up at me on the bed and said, "You're not fit to be our luna. You're nothing but a maid."

Tears slipped from my eyes, and I mustered up my courage. "I want to be a physiotherapist. I never wanted to be a maid, but my parents couldn't sponsor my education."

James's expression darkened as he said, "Even if you were a physiotherapist, you don't expect my brothers and me to make you our luna. It's not possible. John will have a separate mate to be luna, while Julian and I will have our own. You're only a plaything to us, so stop dreaming about becoming our luna. This isn't a fantasy—it's our reality, Tonia. You're our sex slave. Stop daydreaming."

James buckled his belt and buttoned his shirt, unaware of how deeply his words had broken me.

John stood speechless, watching James dress.

"I don't want to do this anymore. You and Julian have to stop coming here after today," John said, his rut worsening. His sèxual pheromones made me wet on the bed.

"Got it. We should probably sack her, because if Julian comes here to sleep with her, I can't help but want her too," James said once he was done dressing in my room.

Alpha John nodded and said, "I'll settle it. Inform Mom and Dad that I went to take care of something. I need to get this done with her." His eyes shifted to me as his rut fully took over his mind. I wanted to get away from them, to go to the bathroom and cry my eyes out, but Alpha John caught my arm and pulled me back to his chest.

"Where are you going?" he asked, his eyes watching me as he towered over me. He was an identical triplet to his brothers, except for his brownish hair color compared to their dark hair. His hand held mine, and I tried to croak out words. "I want to bathe."

"Mmm," he hummed and said, "Why are you crying?"

His hand wiped my face as he brushed away my tears and said, "What do you want? To become the luna?"

I raised my head and looked up at Alpha John's face. His voice was soft now that we were alone in my room. What was he up to? Why was he speaking to me so gently?

"I…" I tried to reply, but I didn't know what to say.

"Answer me," he ordered, but I still didn't know how to respond.

Before I could, Alpha John carried me and placed me on the bed. "You shouldn't dream of what isn't yours, Tonia. Just this once, and we'll end it, alright?"

I couldn't say anything. His lips claimed mine, kissing me more deeply than before, like it was the last kiss I'd ever get from him. He trailed his lips down my neck, my shoulder, my arms, and settled on my chest. His lips worked on my nìpples, kissing and licking all over my body like it was treasure.

After that, he settled at my intimate area, even though his two brothers had already taken their turns with me. Alpha John took his time, slowly, as his tongue worked like magic on my core. He sucked and licked me to climax.

I forgot my pain for a moment. I forgot the hurtful words he and his brothers had said about not making me their luna. I forgot that Alpha John didn't like me. When he was done, he ordered me to sit on him and ride him like a cowgirl.

I obeyed him—he was handsome and hot, and I wanted to please him. I wanted to be next to him since he was the oldest alpha, but he didn't want to keep me. His eyes were distant, like he was filled with troubled thoughts.

I straddled him on my bed, settling onto his masculine body and waist. He angled himself and thrust into me, riding me in my room as we moaned toward climax.

Alpha John finished once he climaxed, and he placed his mark on my neck, just like his brothers had. Though he said I wasn't his mate, that didn't stop him from marking me too.

Once he was done, he didn't push me off the bed like he always did. He held me to his chest like he didn't want to part from me—like he didn't want this to end. But he whispered into my left ear, "It's for the best, Tonia. Don't hate us. My brothers and I would have kept you if we weren't alphas. But it would be wrong to keep you as our sex slave and make another woman the luna. Do you want money to move on? I can give you any amount you need."

Tears flowed down my cheeks as I sat on Alpha John's thighs. "I don't want to leave you guys," I cried, but he pushed me off the bed and said, "We can't continue this. I'll write you a check for five million. It's more than your salary of 100,000 monthly. Take it and leave—unless you want to end up getting hurt. And don't think you can threaten my brothers or report us to our parents. You'll only end up in jail. So do what's right." He walked away from me and went to the bathroom to wash himself.

I sat on my bed crying, as I didn't want to leave them. I wanted to be their mate—their luna—but Alpha John came out, put on his clothes, and said, "I'll send Madam Penelope to give you the check. Let today be the last day we mate, Tonia. Leave."

Alpha John finished buttoning his shirt and left my room. I sat on the bed crying, knowing I had foolishly dreamt of being with them.
