"Dominic," Queen Bathsheba called when he wanted to walk past her to his room.

Dominic stopped in his tracks and turned to face her. He knew pretty well what his mother was going to say.

"Yes, mother." He answered and she sighed.

"Alpha Draco called." She said and Dominic sighed, walking back to his mother and taking a seat on the couch.

"What did he say?" He asked.

"He said Matilda came home crying that you chose another girl over her. Why in the world would you do a thing like that?" She questioned.

"I chose the right person and besides, I already promised to go out with the girl that day. Should I break my promise because I want to make someone else happy?" He asked and Queen Bathsheba sighed, shaking her head.

"Dominic." She called.

"I'm 20, mum. I'm 20 years old. Stop acting like I'm still a child. I can take care of myself, okay? I can take care of my affairs as well. Also, I have accepted my mate and don't want anything to do with Matilda anymore." He revealed and she gasped
