“What..? Really? Where? Congrats bro!! Tell me everything about her. Every single bloody detail!” Ralph demanded.

He sat in an upright position, kept his hands on the table and moved forward, giving his full attention to the new topic at hand.

“Thanks brother. She is here in this very building. She has come for an interview. I told manager benedict to provide me with every single information about her” Brian said with the sweetest smile on his handsome face.

“She is here? Call her here! Clutch her tightly between your palm. Give her an offer she can never reject and then seduce her until she fell for you deeply!” Ralph suggested excitedly as he is master of seduction.

“I am planning on doing that but thanks for the advice, my playboy Alpha” Brain smirked at him teasingly but it had zero effect on Ralph.

He was literally really happy for his best friend to be annoyed by him today.

“Oh, my little b*tch. That’s what I was talking about. What are you waiting for? Call her!” Ralph exclaimed in excitement.

“Can you please wait for a minute, you impatient soul? I need to study her first to know what exactly she wants. I will persuade her using her needs” Brain shared his mastermind plan with Ralph with an arrogant smirk.

“Oooo, smarty pants. Kill the nerd inside you, study her all you want when she is in front of you, idiot! But I always knew you have an evil jerk hidden inside that meaty body!’ Ralph uttered cheerfully.

If looks could kill, Ralph would have been turned into corpse long back by Brian’s death glares.

Brain kept his face in his palm and was looking at the screen having CCTV footage with an adorable smile.

“I am happy to see you smiling like this. I don’t know when was the last time you smiled for thirty second straight” Ralph smiled, looking at him but before Brian, his inner wolf replied,

Brian opened his mouth to reply but suddenly there was a knock on the door and Brian felt the familiar presence.

“Come in, Manager Ben” Brain said, his voice laced with authority and the guy in his mid-thirties walked in.

“So, what’s the report?” He asked calmly, looking straight at him.

“Her name is Emily Riley Donavon. She is 20 years old. Her parents died in a car accident last year. Their case was abruptly closed because of the lack of evidence. She needs a job desperately to pay for her brother’s tuition fees” Manager Ben concluded his report.

“That’s great and what about her pack?” Brian enquired, he was not happy with the half report.

“I believe she is a rogue. Her parents also did not belong to any of the packs in our town or neighboring towns” Manager Ben replied with a serious face.

“Okay, thank you for the information. Make a contract with a good salary for a secretary and once it is ready, bring Emily to my office. The salary should be more than enough that Emily must be unable to reject our offer” Brian commanded in his Alpha voice.

“But Alpha, we already have Stacy as your perfect secretary” Manager Ben replied baffled.

“Are you suggesting me to keep my mate away from me for a mere human secretary?” Asked Brain, he stood up and went directly in front of Manager Ben in a matter of seconds.

Benedict looked down in respect, submitting to his Alpha.

“No, Alpha Brain. I must prepare everything” Benedict replied obediently.

“Good. Now go and bring the document and Emily to my office” Brian ordered, still keeping his cold aura around him to suppress the people around him.

Ralph was looking at the whole scene with interest and spoke after Manager Ben closed the door and left,

“You are scary, dude!” Ralph said with chuckle.

Brian’s chilly aura had no effect on another strong billionaire Alpha with similar powers.

“Of course, I am an Alpha” Brian rolled his eyes with a proud smirk.

“So do I” replied Ralph with a wink.

“Nope, you are less of an Alpha and more of a playboy billionaire! The latter suits you better” Brain replied playfully. His sunshine aura was back on.

“Hey! I didn’t know you will hurt me like this! Did you call me here to insult me?” Ralph kept his hand on his chest pretended to be hurt.

“Stop your nonsense, b*tch! You came here on your own. I didn’t call you today!” Brain replied casually before switching on his laptop again.

“Another attack! Looks like you woke up and choose violence today! I thought we were friends. You said you were in a good mood” Ralph pretended to be hurt by his actions.

“You are such a drama queen, Ralph. And yeah, I am in a good mood!” Brain smiled looking at CCTV footage of Emily at the screen.

“Then may I ruin it?” The corner of his mouth twitched into an arrogant Smirk.

Brian looked at him confidently replied,

“I don’t think anything you will say today will be able to ruin my mood”

“I see that you are in a honeymoon phase but the matter I was talking about concerns the little Hale” Ralph replied, his smirk grew widened but his eyes became serious.

Brain’s expressions darkened even when Ralph didn’t give him any idea about the matter in hand. Mentioning his brother’s name was enough to ruin his whole mood.

“What about him?” He asked in a chill causing tone.

The aura around him turned dark, cold and intimidating. If there was any other werewolf in closer vicinity except for Ralph, he would have fell on his knees by now.

“Well, do you remember I told you about the Blue Desert auction?” Ralph enquired and Brain nodded in response.

“Well, you know I won’t take part in this one as it’s your dream project, but the other party who is capable of competing with you is none other than Alpha Edmund Hale” Ralph delivered the second shocking news of the day.
