CHAPTER 9

KNEADING her thumb solicitously, Sera perk her head up for the thirtieth time, lining her vision at the entrance of the labyrinth maze- hoping that their Luna will pop out in any second.

"It's been almost half an hour, that my lady had went inside but she still hasn't come back yet. What could have happened to her?" Her words were laced with agitation at the same time wavering with fear. Sera kept on biting her lower lip that her teeth almost tear its pinkish skin.

Sera's gaze lift heavenwards as she felt the celestial sun was blocked by the sudden formation of grey nimbus clouds that is persistent enough to pour down heavy rain fall in just spare seconds.

"I hope my lady is alright." she mumbled in a sotto voce.

"She will be fine, Sera. She's strong since she's our luna after all." Leni, Sera's wolf, anticipated a reply to her agitation- a solace offered to easen her anxiety.
