"Why are you guys suddenly silent?" Kyra questioned as she tiredly settled herself on the cold hard floor.

"You almost got hurt!" Jace hissed sharply as he ran his hands through his hair in distress.

"But I'm fine now, aren't I?" Kyra was mentally exhausted. The fear she had felt moments ago was taking its toll on her. She felt all she needed at that moment was a good rest.
