Her brother's arrival.

The car ride back home with Diana was silent and tense.

Xavier couldn't help but stare at her often as her almost lifeless form stared out the window.

"I'm sorry" Xavier says.

He didn't know what he was apologizing for exactly but he knew something wasn't right and the silence in the car was too heavy he needed to break it.

"Sorry for?" Diana asked, turning to face him with her dead and hollow looking eyes.

Whatever had happened had hit her really deep for her to look this bad in less than 24 hours, he thought taking in her tired and haggard looking face. She looked so much older than her age.

"For whatever that happened" he sighed deciding to end the conversation.

She nodded going back to staring through the window.

Xavier packed the car at the side curb of her house and stepped out, going round the car to help her out as well.
