Epilogue

Diana stands in front of a cell five years later talking to Rain Herd who was behind bars.

He looked so weak and frail after spending just three years in jail.

His gray hairs had multiplied and his beards were unshaved giving him a lunatic look.

He stared at Diana for a long time before lowering his head in grief.

He was ashamed of his actions now that he had nothing to do but sit around and mop all day.

He knew he was not going to survive for long in the dungeons they held him in and it saddened him to know he'll never have the chance to make up for his mistake.

After the night of the confession, Xavier had wasted no time in asking the men to drag him out and also call in the police.

Although he knew even if his son hadn't called the cops the maids would have gossiped to the people and words would have gotten to the cops anyway.

His son had just made it faster and quicker.

He had begged. Promised to make up for his crimes but his son's heat was too hardened to be reasoned with.
