Chapter 12 : The Two Wolves

Dawn’s POV

“You’re shaking.”

I glared at Craig. “I’m not.”

“Your legs are literally going two hundred miles an hour.”

“Stop looking at my legs then, you pervert.”

He laughed at the verbal attack, shaking his head as he concentrated back onto the piece he was working with. I couldn’t help but let my eyes wander back around the studio again.

It had been some hours since the attack, and when Craig had said it was clear and that we should go back to it I d*mn near called him a mad person. I wasn’t about to go back to the very space I had been attacked in.

But he had assured me that both of the men had been detained and there were now security measures put into place. When I had asked him what the police had said, he stayed silent.

I didn’t push, but something about his reaction told me that it wasn’t the human authorities he had called to come and help us.
