Lucas – POV

I packed light.

Not much was needed—just a few essentials and whatever information I'd managed to dig up during my time away. Riven had already made his move back to Damian's pack. Now it was my turn.

But I wasn't rushing because of a report.

It was her.

The omega.

Our omega.

I hadn't even laid eyes on her since the day we found her, barely conscious and clinging to life, but the bond hadn't dulled—not even for a second. I could still feel her fear, lingering at the edge of my awareness like a bruise that refused to fade. And every time I felt it, something sharp twisted in my chest.

Riven tried to mask it with sarcasm. Damian buried it under strategy. Kael... Kael stayed close, offering her comfort none of us could match from a distance.

But me?

I carried her with me in silence.

I'd seen what that kind of fear does to people. What kind of damage had to be done to an omega for her to flinch at every sound. To trust no one. To forget her own damn name.

And still

  • Mated to four   Chapter 49

Damian – POVThe second we stepped inside Christ’s house, I could feel it—that quiet, coiled tension hiding behind all his polished floors and fake-ass hospitality. The scent of lies was thicker than the cologne he bathed in, coating every damn inch of the place. The bastard had gone all out—gold trim on the walls, fresh flowers on the table, the whole look-at-me-I’m-important display. But underneath? I could feel the rot.He gestured for us to follow him, smiling like we were old friends. Smooth words, easy tone. But his eyes… his eyes kept drifting to Lira. Not in the usual way men looked at her—this wasn’t hunger. This was recognition. Like something about her was scratching at the back of his thick skull.I stepped just a fraction closer to her, letting my presence bleed into the space between us. A silent warning. One wrong move and I’ll rip your damn throat out.Once we were settled in the main room, I didn’t waste time. No small talk. No pleasantries.“So,” I said, my voice cal

Lira – POV My stomach churned the moment the trees thinned and the gate to Trinity came into view. It felt like the sky got darker just being this close. The place I ran from. The place I bled in. The place that broke me. I gripped my hands together in my lap, trying to still the tremble, but it was no use. My skin felt too tight. My lungs too shallow. I couldn't stop the shaking. Couldn't stop the voice in my head screaming at me to run. Beside me, Damian's fingers tapped against the steering wheel but I could feel the tension rolling off him in waves. "Hey," he said, softer than I expected, eyes still on the road. "You remember the plan?" I nodded once. Because if I spoke, I'd shatter. My hair itched at the roots from the bleach we'd used. I kept catching glimpses of my reflection in the window—blond now, paler than before—and even though I barely recognized myself... I still felt exposed. No amount of hair dye could hide the way my heart pounded. The gate creaked open

Christ – POV The moment my phone rang and Damian’s name flashed across the screen, I knew something was off. That prick never called unless he wanted something. He wasn’t the drop-by-for-a-drink type, and he sure as hell didn’t do “friendly check-ins.” If Damian was calling me, it meant there was a purpose behind it — something layered, hidden, dangerous. Still, I answered with the smoothest voice I could muster. “Damian,” I drawled, leaning back in my chair like I had all the time in the world. “To what do I owe the pleasure?” He got straight to the point — cold and clipped like always. Said he was planning a little visit to Trinity. Wanted to talk, catch up. Some friendly bullshit. But then he added something that made my ears perk. “I’ll be bringing a guest.” A guest? My brows lifted as I leaned forward, suddenly interested. “Oh?” I asked, careful not to sound too curious. “And who might that be?” “She’s not important,” he said. “Just someone I want with me.” Liar. Nobo

Damian – POV As we drove toward Trinity's territory, my mind raced with every possible way this could go sideways. I'd called Christ under the ruse of a friendly get-together—said I'd be stopping by with a female guest. Of course the bastard bought it. Sounded almost smug, like he thought I was bringing him a gift. Now here we were. Me and her, driving straight into the fucking place she barely survived. I glanced over at her. She stared out the window, eyes fixed on nothing, but I could see the tremble in her hands. Could see the way her legs bounced, her shoulders tight and tense like a wire pulled too thin. She was trying to hold it together. Barely. Her fingers twisted the fabric of her sleeves, knuckles pale. I reached over, resting a hand on her thigh "Hey. Sweetheart." My voice was low, steady. "Everything's gonna be okay. You remember the plan?" She turned her head, now blond, hair tied back and neat. The second she nodded, I caught the smallest flicker of something

RIVEN — POV Blood in the air. God, I fucking missed this. The second we hit the northern line, my claws were out and my wolf was pacing just under the surface, teeth bared, hungry for chaos. Every nerve in my body was lit, my senses screaming awake in the way they only did when blood was close. Two patrol guards up ahead—sloppy posture, lazy eyes, the stench of overconfidence rolling off them. I almost felt bad for them. Almost. I lunged first. One went down before he even saw me coming, throat crushed beneath my boot, his last breath a wet rattle. The other fumbled for his radio, desperation flickering in his gaze—too slow. Kane, one of mine, was on him in an instant, his claws ripping through flesh and bone with a snap that echoed through the trees. I rolled my shoulder, loosening the tension in my muscles, feeling the ache in my knuckles like an old friend. “Keep moving,” I growled, my voice low, sharp enough to cut. This wasn’t playtime. Not yet. But fuck, did it feel g

Kael – POV The air was colder than usual. Not the weather—just the feeling. Heavy. Weighted. Like the whole damn world knew what we were about to do. We split at dawn. Riven and his team were already headed toward the north border, their silhouettes swallowed by the mist. He was ready—same as us. Ready to bleed for this. Ready to kill for this. Lucas and I stood at the edge of the east ridge, eyes fixed on the distant treeline that marked Trinity’s territory. The wind dragged across my face, sharp enough to sting. Lucas was silent beside me, gripping the straps of his pack tight enough I could hear the seams strain. His jaw was locked, the tendons in his neck standing out like stone. “We do this clean,” I muttered. “No mistakes. No hesitation.” Lucas nodded once. “And no leaving without her.” My chest tightened. Lira. She was back at the pack house, dressed in a new identity, traveling with Damian like just another alpha’s omega. Calm on the outside, fire underneath. We just
