Irina’s POV
“I’m not mated yet”. It was hard to speak, my whole body was trembling, it even felt like my eyes were shaking.
“You’re not marked?” Shaun’s eyes were wide
“No”
“Do you know who your mate is? Have you met him?”
I shake my head; I couldn’t tell him. What if they took me back, what if they won’t let me join their pack??
“What’s happening to me Shaun?”
He was holding my hands, trying to stop me from scratching myself, but I wanted to do more than scratch myself, it was like I wanted to punish myself for feeling this way.

Irina’s POVI thought it was Damien coming for me, I had scented him. Yet as the soft knock became more urgent, Damien’s scent was fading, and I climb out of bed confused.“It’s not Damien” Raine whispers to me and she seemed nervous.The knock comes again and this time they try turning the handle.
