ZULU’S POV

My hands froze in midair before I could touch her. She kept her eyes on me, tears streaming down. There was pain in her eyes. A pain worse than any battle wound I had seen. I had shattered her heart and I physically hurt her too. I could see the stamp of my hand swelling on her cheeks.

“We need to get you something for that swelling. We can’t leave it the way it is. It might leave a mark.” I muttered, trying to hide that all this left I terrible ache in my chest. Honestly I didn’t know why I was hiding it. Why I didn’t want her to know how feeling now.

I tired to reach out and hold her again but she cringed away immediately. “Please don’t. Don’t touch me. I didn’t at I wanted anything to be done to my face. Please leave me. You said that you were done with what you are here for. Can you leave me now.” she sounded so bland all of a sudden but even then I could still see how much she was struggling to say what she had said.

“I am your king. You will not defy me. I said you

TAYLOR’S POV“Are you the reason he acted so sure when he said I should go ahead and take my wolf form. I didn’t think that the true Oscala would let you back out. He was very pissed with you as of last time. I’m glad that he let you out. I really missed you, Oscala.” I said to him. We were sitting on the darkness of my mind but his light brightened a little bit of the place we were. “Oscala the first, is very principled there is a reason the goddess let him reincarnate many times over. Except his reincarnations do not exactly go without a person of their own and he has made it known to me when I was much younger that he didn’t like that he couldn’t take full control of me so I better not give him a reason to do what he shouldn’t. Well he said that I was too sentimental. It’s not my fault. I found the good things of life u like him.”I snickered. He was right about that. Oscala the first was indeed stiff-necked and very formal. He was neither the type to laugh, not joke or do anythi

TAYLOR’S POVI was lying on the floor, burned out literally. Most of my hands had been buried by that guy’s inferno. The way it wailed and ran off was so nice. It meant I was finally free of it. Free to rest even just a little bit but my peace was short lived. Seconds later I heard my name echo through the halls. It sounded just like Oscala.I spring off the floor immediately. That’s impossible, Oscala cannot be calling me. He is tougher than I can ever be. He shouldn’t need my help so soon unless it really that bad. What the hell is happening there?I dragged myself towards the hallway, stumbling down . I couldn’t hear Oscala’s voice again but I could hear the anger sorcerer. He was still wailing. Whatever it is Oscala destroyed, it broke his heart. I walked into the large room where I could see flashes of fire. Immediately I stepped In, someone yelled.“Taylor get down.” I spun around, there was a boulder coming right at me. I fell back like I had lost my ghost. It flew right past

OSCALA’S POVI ran, as far as I could, through the hallway leading down to the room in the heart of the castle of Castle of the Lycan king. Taylor was right. The closer I can throw more I sense the heart beat of this creature. It was in pain and it was dying. I slammed through door, they were locked ,some wee blocked. I crashed through them not minding they it tore my arm apart and I was bleeding. At some point, The last door, the final door into the chamber here he kept his elixir was the last one standing in my way. It was made of metal and it was red hot. Whatever he did he made the door like coal in a fire. I wouldn’t burn out but it wouldn’t ever get cold.If I was going to undo his magic I would have to touch the door to make the chant. Damn it was going to hurt three times more than cracking all you bones at once. I heaved, I had no option. The distress of the creature inside they was hurting my heart. I had to go in. I just had to. I heaved, rubbing my palms together. I ble

TAYLOR’S POV“Oh hell. Have you gone in here before? Tell me you have been here before and you have an idea how to pass this?” I asked him desperately. He looked back me. “No I don’t to how to get pass this. We will have to work out way around it.” He said to me, giving me his had “In case you are scared.” I slapped his hand off. “I’m not afraid, I just don’t like to be unprepared for things. Let’s go. One stair at a time until we finally get to the end. I doubt there is no way to walk it safely because the king will go through the same path.” I kept my eyes on the ground and forward as many times as I can. He was right behind me. Keeping an eye at the top of the labyrinth for me. We were just snail slow the entire time. Not sure where exactly we were going because there were so man paths an so many door. But we were moving. Well all that changed when I got to a roundabout with doors on every corner then I felt the dark energy of the elixir.I rose my eyes to its direction immedi

TAYLOR’S POV“You are right about that.” Taylor’s eyes was looking up, she could see the shadows that were gathering outside. She sighed and looked back Resha who was already on her feet. “There is too many people out there. We are not enough to fight them all. We need to get a distraction and fast. We can’t fight them all. They will kill us all.”“We don’t have anyone to help us. I don’t have anyone to sacrifice. We won’t sacrifice anyone. Should we go back?” Oscala looked at the way they came. “Perhaps we should figure about another means in. This one has been compromised.”“No, we continue from here. There is no way for us to enter here except through this route. We have to fight our way out.” Everyone turned around, looking at the king of Lycans. Zulu placed Resha’s hand on her chest. She was breathing slowly but too tired to do anything. “We will fight them. We will kill them all. The ruckus that we will create here should be enough for you and Taylor to get to the elixir. He

ZULU’S POV“That’s that signal. We have to start going. Is everything and everyone here?” “We are still waiting for Taylor. She and some of the guards are coming from that direction to join us?” Oscala informed me I turned to him, my surprise evident in my eyes.“I don’t understand. She is not here. I thought I saw her just now.” I looked at the place where I was certain she was standing just now. “She was right there.”“Yes she was. I’m it disputing it. But she sensed danger and she has to leave and check it out. We were digging out the hole back then.”“Oscala you let her go to check for that enemy? What if she gets hurt? Where you even thinking?” I sneered at him, barring my teeth for him. His eyes wore the occasional dull appearance, nothing I did shake him even a little bit. “She is the Luna. She is not plastic. She ill be fine. We should focus on what we are doing so we can be sure that we are ready so when she comes we will leave immediately.”I huffed, leaving him to go bac
