calm down

After comforting me, which barely worked, Valeria left to fetch me a glass of water.

Gulping the drink, I finally calmed down. Valeria sat next to me on the bed as I leaned on the headboard. My breathing had finally stabilized but the fear and terror still lingered.

" Can you tell me what you dreamt about that left you so flustered?" Valeria asked and I shook my mind in denial. I didn't want to talk about it, it would feel like reliving the nightmare.

" It's okay if you don't want to talk about it. Get some rest, I'll be in my room." Valeria offered and stood to leave.

" Do you think I am a stubborn person?" The question left my lips before I could stop myself.

Valeria chuckled.

" Are you asking me? You should know the answer to that question yourself." She replied.
