I answered the alpha wolf’s question, knowing better than to test the limits of his jealousy at the moment after catching a glimpse of his claiming bite when I’d moved forward to cover the female in my cloak.
The look of disdain on the blonde man’s face was laughable, but he couldn’t protest my action with the frigid temperatures.
