Chapter 26: Temptress

Natasha's POV

The silence is deafening inside Valerian's car we take the road home.

I'm so glad that he got so busy earlier and he had to leave and attend meetings again. He wasn't able to give me my "punishment"

He was so busy until the day end and I have to endure my boredom all the time I was left alone in his office. I was so bored but I can't complain or come to Valerian's meeting again like I did earlier because if I do that it might add up to my "sin" again and it will just give him more reason to get his way to me.

I looked out the window.

I want to tell Valerian to drive slowly so I could enjoy the view outside but he drives so fast. It's already dark outside and lights are everywhere making the city so pretty. The city at night is just beautiful and hit different when it's night. It's like peaceful and alive at the same time. I would love to walk around outside sometimes.
