Chapter 27: Dinner

Natasha's POV

Eventually, Valerian did what I told him to.

He went out of my room and that's when I finally went out of the bathroom too.

I quickly put on some comfortable clothes and went downstairs like what Valerian told me to- for the nth time.

He didn't stop bugging me until I said I will obey him and go downstairs.

I found Valerian sitting on one of the chairs at the long dining table. His elbows are placed above the table and his chin is on his knuckles.

I sat on the chair beside him. I made sure to keep my distance so I skipped one chair from him.

My gaze fell on what is on the table in front of him.

"Dinner," Valerian muttered.

Did he want me downstairs to have dinner?

Is that all the reason why he called me here?

I already told him I'm not hungry so I don't know what is this.

I stared at the steak on the plate and my mouth automatically watered.

It looks so delicious.
