Alpha Kai's Pov

“Cease fire!!”

I echoed, in a thunderous and intimidating voice. Watching as my mate, ducked into a ball, from the effect with her hands covering her.

I walked towards her protectively.

“Mate.” I whispered, in a hushed tone, walking towards where she squat.

With droplets of cold rain splashing vividly on her body, she trembled on her spot, shivering from the weather.

“P-please don’t hurt me…please.”

she begged immediately, her eyes bolting from us. It made me realize she was afraid of us. Of something.

It made me want to hug her. Tell her not to be afraid, that I wasn't going to hurt her anytime soon. 

“Look at me.”

I ordered her, wondering why she wouldn't gaze at me. 

I could smell her by now. It was something delicious and my beast was loving it. He was threatening to surface, wild with uncontrollable passion for this beautiful creature in front of us.

“I said look at me!”

Still in a scare, she removed her hands slowly peeking to see a part of my face. My mate narrowed her eyes at the sight of me.

She had a red frizzy hair and a petite frame. Something told me she could be bigger, that she wasn't in the best of places right now... I hoped she liked what she saw.

I had a dirty blond hair, and a cruel looking face. High, harsh cheekbones locked in a frown at all times. With these features, will she fall for me?

“Get up.” I ordered.

More droplets of rain swooshed in, with the arrow of fire totally disappearing. She sighed in relief, getting up with her eyes locked in curiosity at me.

“Who are you?” My mate, asked softly.

“Alpha of Valmore pack— Kai Vincenzo, you are?”

“Alpha!” someone yelled, preventing her reply.

It was my Beta Abramo. I noticed he was bare from head to toe. With his manhood dangling as he ran towards us.

I  growled at his nudity, slashing a part of his arm in anger for showing that part of him to my Luna.

“Cover yourself, would you? She’s my mate!” I exclaimed, possessively wrapping my large arms around her. He growled in pain.

Whilst mate, stood timidly in her spot.

My mate.

Who I would love and cherish, eternally.

Mine...

Mine.

“I know, milord. It’s just that we have to hasten the attack so no one wakes up,” he bowed down at my knees saying. “Not going now, means a change of plans.” he added to his words.

“Very well. Begin with the attack.” I howled in response to him. Beasts had the ability to howl, even in human form. And that was an advantage I used well.

I watched her eyes bolt when I made those words at my Beta. She was surely surprised of my motives but it wasn't something I could stop. Every action of mine had a damn reason. They just had to pay for their sins... 

“Come with me.” I took her hands saying.

She halted in her spots forcefully. “To where? I have my pack to protect. I can’t leave them?”

“You’re mine, now. My pack is your pack, wolf.” I breathed out gently dismissing the growl that threatened to spill at her reluctance. 

“B-but I just met you—”  

“Doesn’t matter. I’m your damned Alpha now!” I  spat out angrily wrapping my hands firmly around her waist. Possessively, I moved to bring her with me when she made a sound. 

“Aww…” she suddenly scowled.

“What again?” I asked, looking at her with a gaze of care. 

Promised to protect her.

"I'm.Hurt." she seethed, hissing. I immediately let go.

"Sorry, mate. I'll beat the hell out of who hurt you, I promise." I angrily let out.

“What why would you... I-I don’t even know your name,” she stuttered with a devious glance, looking into my eyes with her beautiful fiery ones.

This attraction to her, was getting the best of my senses…

My beast wanted to mark her here. This minute.

Mate took that opportunity of my distraction, to run far away from me. I heard her petite legs, making hurrying motions away and it aroused me deeply.

The way she ran stirred my beast greatly... 

“Kai!” I yelled.

“And yours?”

She paused a bit, as I asked those words. 

“Doesn’t matter!” she rushed out, saying. “I’m not coming with you anyway!”

"Come to your senses, mate." I zoomed in front of her saying, my beast almost heightened. "I'm ending this pack tonight, because of their sins against my pack."

"W-what did they even do?" she gasped, in a scare that I was right in front of her.

"Doesn't matter. You're coming with me, even if I have to use force."

Sudden yells and wails from distance, followed through. My beast smiled sinisterly, knowing half of our mission was complete. Directing my eyes back to her, I took a hold of her hands staring at her with my steely glowing eyes. 

"No! Let me go!" she struggled in my hands saying. 

My hands hit her weak spot. She collapsed into my hands, unconsciously. I carried her over my shoulders, wondering what could've happened if she wasn't reluctant. 

"I'm sorry, mate."
