Chapter Thirty Three

A gasp wracked my chest as someone shook me to wake. I was hearing a soft murmur in my ears. Like a sweet voice was singing around me.

I opened my eyes but squeezed them immediately close as the light was so much for my eyes.

"Open your eyes slowly," I heard her velvet voice again.

I opened them as she told me. Over the course of a few breaths, I could see. Another loud gasp left my lips as I saw her wings. They stretched, reaching at least ten feet wide. The feathers were beautiful, pure white. As they appeared, she was so beautiful, wrapped in a silky white gown, her golden hair was wavy and spread over her shoulders. She was very tall, near six feet. I blinked in disbelief. It was impossible. I couldn't see an angel.

Gradually, I drew my hand near my arm and I pinched hard. I didn't want her to disappear, "Ouch," I rubbed the spot still gawking at her, "You're real and sooo beautiful," My voice was full of shock. I still didn't know.
