BREAKFAST IN BED

Audrey’s Pov

I slept so well, more than I had ever rested in my entire time here, even more than when Asher told me he wanted to be with me. Yesternight was a moment I had always dreamed about, Asher breathing down on my neck, his hand on every part of me, kissing me, touching me, only just that he didn’t take me to his room and lay me down with him.

But half-bread was better than none, and the fact that he did everything for me was more than enough. I was smiling as I absentmindedly stared at the maids clearing the room to take my morning bath.

“My lady, the bath is ready.” One of them broke into my thoughts.

I jumped up from the bed almost immediately, throwing the duvet away and dancing to the bathroom.

I didn’t mind any of the stares I received from them. All that was on my mind was Asher and how he would be in breakfast, what he’d be wearing, how his hair would be packed, and how lovely he would look when he saw me.
