Salvatore’s pov

They stood in silence. Some of them had tears in their eyes. Others looked shocked. But none of them stepped forward.

I walked slowly toward them.

I looked each one in the eye.

“This…” I said, pointing at the fallen men. “This is your fault.”

They didn’t answer.

“You think you can test me?” I said. “You think your little pack can scare me?”

One of them tried to speak. “Please, Salvatore—”

“No!” I shouted.

He went silent.

“You want to blame me for Donovan’s death? Fine. Do it. But don’t think you can touch me and walk away. I will remember this.”

I looked around at the others.

“When I take over this pack—and I will—you will be the first to go. I will rip your titles from you. I will burn your seats. And I will not stop until every last one of you learns who rules.”

They didn’t answer. They knew better.

I took one step closer.

“In one week,” I said. “You will give this pack to me. Or I will take it with blood.”

None of them moved.

“Say something!” I barked.

Still silence

Kieran’s pov“Yes,” I said. “Too close.”“We want you to help us find a weak spot,” another elder said. “Something we can use to break through.”“I can try,” I said. “But if I go in, I’ll go in alone.”“We understand,” they said.“I don’t need a war right now,” I added. “I just want my son back.”That was when they understood my story. They stayed quiet.“But if taking Salvatore down is the way,” I said, “then I’ll do it.”“Do you have anyone loyal to you inside Salvatore’s walls?” one of them asked.I nodded. “Maybe. I have to check.”“Good. We can give you cover if needed,” one of them said.“No,” I said. “I work alone.”There was silence again. Then one of the elders asked, “Kieran, are you sure about this?”I looked him straight in the eye.“He took my child,” I said. “I’m not giving up.”They understood.“Then we will help,” one of them said. “We will give you what you need.”“I don’t need weapons,” I said. “I need silence. Don’t talk about me. Don’t send people to follow me.”“W

Kieran’s povI took a breath and told her, “Because I may have found another way.”She raised an eyebrow. “What way?”I smiled faintly. “I sent a messenger to Donovan’s pack. To the elders. I asked them to meet me. I want to form an alliance with them.”Her eyes widened. “You think they will help?”“I’m not sure, but I’m sure of something.”“What is it?”“for one, they hate Salvatore. If we work together, we can bring him down.”She stayed quiet for a few seconds. Then she asked, “Do they know everything?”I shook my head. “No. Just that I want to meet. I’ll meet them and hear what they have to say. That’s all.”“And what if they say no to your terms?”“Then we do it your way,” I said. “We train. We fight. We take the pack back.”Sirella stared at me. “You’d do that with me?”I nodded. “Of course. He’s my son too.”She starred to cry as she sniffed. “Thank you.”I reached out and pulled her into a hug. “We’ll get him back. No matter what.”We kept silent for a while as our hearts were

Authors pov“But what if Salvatore finds out?” one elder asked. “What if he hears that we are trying to make an alliance with Kieran?”The room grew quiet again.“We will keep it secret,” the letter-writer said. “Only the ones in this room must know. No one else. Not even our warriors. Not until we are sure.”Another elder added, “If Kieran is with us, Salvatore will not stand a chance.”The others nodded, slowly, carefully. No one smiled. No one felt at ease. It was still a heavy time. Their alpha was dead. Their prince was dead. They were really desperate and this man would help. He might have caused the deaths but at least he would help. They had no choice. They had to be smart. They had to be strong. They had to survive. The letter was finished and their messenger was called in. The elders then gave the messenger a clear instruction. Where to go and what to do. No dallying around. The message had to reach Kieran before Salvatore could suspect anything. As the messenger left into

Salvatore’s pov“She is weak,” I said. “Her love for that child blinds her. And Kieran… he’s nothing but a wolf who forgot his place.”The general looked like he wanted to say more, but didn’t.“You can speak,” I said. “You always could.”He sighed. “I’m only afraid, Alpha. Afraid this will turn too many against us. Kieran is strong. The people know him. If he gathers support—”“I will crush him,” I said. “I made him. I can unmake him.”“You trained him,” the general said softly. “He knows your moves. He knows how you think.”“That makes him dangerous,” I agreed. “But it also makes him predictable. He will come for his child. That is why I took the boy.”“You used the child as bait,” the general whispered.“Of course,” I said. “Kieran fights like a warrior but thinks like a father now. That’s his weakness.”The general looked troubled.“Do not look at me like that,” I said.“I’m just thinking,” he replied. “We may be strong, Alpha. But even strong trees fall when many axes strike toge

Authors povSalvatore laughed. “You think it’s me? We didn’t trust each other.”“We know it was you. The whispers and signs.” An elder growled.“Whispers? Signs? Is this how you govern your pack now? With rumors?”The room grew tense. No one said a word.Salvatore sighed and straightened as he pointed to them. “You all are stupid. Without Donovan and Damien, your pack is free to rise again—under stronger leadership. Perhaps… under mine.”One elder stood up quickly, fists clenched. “So it is true? You want to rule us? After murdering our alpha?”Salvatore smiled again. “That’s quite the story you’ve told yourself.”The elder slammed his hand on the table. “Enough with the games, Salvatore!”Salvatore’s eyes glowed faintly. “Watch your tone.”The room went silent again. The elders were afraid of this dangrr err our man but kept quiet. One elder stepped forward with a frown.“This is not a war we want, Alpha Salvatore. But we will not bow to a killer. You may be powerful, but we are not
