The Naked Dress

Damien threw distrustful glances at Ada’s woolen forest green coat again. They were in his car on the way to meeting the other Alphas. The coat covered her from shoulders to calves only showing nude high-heeled shoes with metal pyramid spikes on the crisscrossed straps. She had come out of the bedroom wearing the coat not letting him see what she wore underneath.

“Uncle Aram thinks we should wait with marking each other,” she said looking straight ahead.

He didn’t answer. His dark aura swirled in the car even though she could tell he was trying to reign it in.

“Is it what you want?” he asked his voice cold, eyes on the night streets illuminated by city lights.

“He has a point. First, it gives me time to establish myself as Alpha for my wolves. Second, we need to prepare other clans to the idea of us uniting. They will think we are merging our clans.”

“We are not merging the clans,” he said
