Bernice’s POV

I can’t remember the last time I slept that well; it’s been ages. As I opened my eyes, the sun shining through the window nearly blinded me. I winced, feeling a small headache brewing in my temple. I sat up in bed, staring around the fairly plane room. This was another smaller pack so the packhouse was also on the smaller side.

I could smell coffee brewing from downstairs, causing my mouth to water. I hadn’t had coffee since before I was pregnant.
