Blood lingers heavily in the air as I walk down the long hallway of the small prison to where the captive is being held in the cell. I told Rush to stay with Mazy,

As I approach the door, I can already hear Elion using our captive as a punching bag. I watch from the small window in the door before entering, it’s true what they say about your firsts, you always remember them.
