“Pssst.” whispered a tiny voice.

I ignored it, hoping it would go away.

“Pssst.” Said the tiny voice getting louder.

This time, it was closer to my ear. I stayed quiet and again hoped it would go away.

“Aliiiiiii,” now the voice was whining, and shaking my shoulder a bit.

I groaned “Not again” and turned over, my back towards the culprit. 

“Wake up. I am going to be late to school,” Groaned the voice.

I woke up when I realized it was Dina’s voice. I forgot that I had to take her to school again. I was lucky I was not late, when I dropped her off at school yesterday. I could have sworn I set an alarm last night. Then again, I
