Chapter 16: The Hotel Room

When we get back to the hotel room, Sam walks into the bathroom to clean up. I yell after him, “What did Aunt Myrtle mean by that?” Because I was curious as to what exactly is going on.

Peeking his head out, all the blood is gone, and he smirks before stating, “It’s a tradition in our family. Every time we are all together, there is either a fight or someone dies. We would much rather have someone in a fight, trust me. However, occasionally there is a death because one of the kids does something stupid. That is why we only get together when there is a wedding or a funeral.”

Smiling now, he disappears for a few minutes and then once he comes back out, he is completely cleaned up. “So, how did you like meeting the family? They all think that we ran off and got hitched.” He says in an amused tone after starting to laugh.
