“Get me out of here.” Brittany jumped up and was dancing at the door as Piercy opened it. Beau held out his hands for me to stand up. “Ready?” Piercy looking into the bathroom as I finished packing my bathroom supplies. Since we would be arriving and seeing people, I had on a knee length fitted black skirt with three buttons down the front. Pairing it with a silk flowy bodysuit that was a swirl of pastels, I felt pretty and dressy. My heels weren’t my favorite, but they were professional. Piercy was in black slacks and a slate colored button up. We matched without being too matchy. My hair bounced with thick curls as his was left looking like he just got out of bed. “Yes.” Looking around one last time, I feel like I had what I needed. “Can you carry that out for me?” “Sure.” Piercy grabbed it and walked out. Grabbing my purse, I was ready. He waited for me at the door so I could close it.“Am I the last one?” “Yes.” Piercy smirked at me. “You slept in.”“You kept me up.” I felt my cheeks grow red as we got to the foyer. “I didn’t hear you complain.” Piercy lifted an eyebrow, challenging me to argue. “Ready?”

“That went well…” We watched his warriors limp off the training field. Piercy was amused and annoyed. “Supper is ready. Brittany is yelling at us to hurry up. She wants to get the bonfire going early so we can get to bed at a decent time.” Gavin pushed me forward to get walking. “Careful!
