I stood up and walked up to stand in front of him. “I guess I can go on a date with you…” Shrugging like it wasn’t a big deal, Maddox frowned at me.

“No.”

“No?” I looked at him, annoyed.

“I don’t believe you really want to date me.”

“Wow.” Holding out my hands, I can’t believe how the tables had changed. “Fine, I won’t ask again.” Turning around, I had just taken a step when Maddox’s hand wrapped around my wrist.

He pulled me back around, slamming into his chest. “Tatum, I want you so fucking bad that it is taking every ounce of restraint I have to not flip you over this desk and have my way with you.
