Ripping it from his hands, I felt my cheeks heat up. “You won’t, either.”

“Then why were they in there?” Maddox put his hands on his knees and leaned over my shoulder. “I wouldn’t mind seeing that.”

“You can thank Brett for packing that. Still, until we are mated, it isn’t going to happen. Maybe not even then.”

Thankfully, the set I was looking for was peaking out from the bottom. Grabbing it, Maddox had picked the lingerie back up and was examining it. “Are you sure?”

I was at the bathroom door when I turned around and looked at him. “First off, I would assume any clothing would be on the floor, not still on my body. Second, you can’t tell me you haven’t seen something like that on someone else. It isn’t special.”

Shutting the door shut before he could say anything else, I was ready to get out of this romper and put on some comfortable clothing. Cleaning all the makeup off, I finally felt more like myself.
