Chapter 95

Groaning in irritation, Maddox reached over to his nightstand. “I was just about asleep.”

“I know, but I wanted you to read this.”

It took every ounce of acceptance I had to pull myself up to a sitting position. Maddox waited until I got comfortable with a few pillows behind me before he handed me something. “This is my journal.”

My hand was halfway to it when he dropped that bombshell. “…. you want me to read this?”

Maddox rolled his eyes and opened the journal before shoving it in my hands. “Just do it.”

    “Hump…” Alpha Black rewinded the video and played it again for everyone. “Can you send this to me?” Alpha Black looked at Maddox. “Sure.     Dad chuckled as he let me go. “William. Good to see you.” He held out his hand. Alpha William was like a completely different person.     Maddox’s phone dinged. I watched as he pulled it out, read the message and then tossed me the phone. “Handle that.” I caught it as he went to his boys and started talking.
