Chapter 4: The Arrival

"Jonathan! Jonathan! Wake the f*ck up!" My friend shakes my left shoulder over and over again until my eyes are opened to behold the reality.

As I opened my eyes from the harsh agony that played over and over again from the past months that faded away.

Wayne my partner sat beside me with his eyes that crammed with worries and uncertainty while carrying a liquor bottle inside of his sweaty palm that begging himself to wipe it off and a cigarette on the bowl filled with ashes that he hunched for it evermore.

"You were bloody screaming at the back you cobber, you hardly pulled my *ss here just to see if you're alright but damn you scared the hell the f*ck out of me" Wayne rubbed his chest with his fist on and laughed after that - shaking his head from side to side.

"I am having a nightmare again" I whispered in a voice like trapped in a misery that echoes internally and then I rubbed my eyes with my sweaty fingers - imagining them they were covered in blood as I glimpse below.

Therefore, I snatched the bottle out of Wayne's hand to drink the liquor he receive as a gift from his prostitute.

"This cr*p tastes no good, Wayne" clapped my lips after sipping the liquor hastily and then brushed my parch lips with my blazer's ends above my wrist.

"We are almost there J, we're still in a f*cking smelly good plane like my true blue sugar's *ss scent I smooched in last night" Wayne tighten his vallete to revamp his chortle into a pig's chuckle in the end once more and there he savor some mist on the cigarette then blow it smokes out which bothers me to sniff it in.

"You are a disgusting dude, I bet she tries to make herself comfortable with that weight and odor you carry in your crib" I confessed with a grin and then I settle my lips for another sip of booze.

"F U C K Rack off your *ss on the seat" Wayne spelled the cuss slowly while poking me with every word he lets out - feels heavy though.

"My bad Wayne" I grin hence chuckling softly and shove my stone up to throw the bottle in the bin near the toilet even though it is not empty yet.

My commander of the guards from once Criemsons corps and the alpha of Wolfianne league sat near the door of Pilot's area.

He swiped some sites and occupied aspects on his skin touch screen technology - a pretty advance that we do not use phones here hardly often or some old technology now turned into a chip and other gadgets we use repeatedly back then.

I attempt to slither to the bin without laying his eyes on me as I thaw some butter to slide above the base.

"Jay, you alright back there?" My leader said while his eyes are still on the forearm but his legs were blocking the way on the carpet.

"Yes sir, I am alright, it is just a stupid nightmare I believe," I said while scratching the back of my neck, north to south and from side to side.

"You still remember we are directing the plane to Winter City to complete your duties as a looker of clues and blood, right?" He asked after he turned the screen off on the forearm he peered for a minute.

"Yes, I will wait for the files to come in my chip and the other assignments that you will pass to me around a quarter of midnight," I said in a breathy deep tone before I raise my right leg to throw the bottle into the bin once and for all.

"Good" He whispered with an emotionless expression he shows through his eye contact.

"Landing at Winter's port any minute, for now, please prepare the case and tasks that are given to you by the masters," the announcer said through the chip in our head.

The image of Winter City popped into my vision with advanced contact lenses that no one will ever see it but only the person who can effectively detect it after some experts access through the chip.

"You heard her Jay, call Wayne and proceed to go to the exit, I have given you the money and the location you will stay and work, and good luck," My leader said after slamming his palm on my left shoulder slowly.

I tapped my scapha to see the location where will Wayne and I depart to stay in and work for through my eyes while Wayne was taking the cases below our seats.

Wayne grabbed the cigarette and glass so that he can see the temperature of the surroundings and every being walking in this mega city that split into two which are Winter City and Twilight City.

Including the measurements of every skyscraper and construction, the name and identification of every human we pass by on the pavements, and other stuff that it can achieve necessarily.

We step into the stairs of the plane and take off to continue heading to the port of the city.

Wayne blows his last smoke before going down to the ground while holding the case. I have my stuff in my hands so as Wayne is.

"Well sh*t, crikey, I already like the place," Wayne said after he toss the cigarette from the air while we move our legs towards the entrance of the port in synchronization.

I squinch my eyes from the sunlight that was hitting me as well the winds that blend with dust attempting to enter into my eye sockets.

"Hey Wayne, you receive yours?" I asked him about the files that our leader programmed into our chip.

"F*ck yeah, let's do this!" He yelled and I cannot force myself not to smile so I chinned up and said what Wayne just shouted in the air.

The airport was built differently than the other airfields I used to discern and come by.

The roof was shaped like a shard with pointy verges, the glass was stained in black as night and the hue of the port as well the design was dead as decreased not colorful or pale as clouds but lifeless.

The wardens in the port were standing on each side and grid of the airport - holding a shotgun that was built differently not just the ordinary shotgun I used to see back then.

They were all wearing the same uniform as always, it was deep navy clothing and their bulletproof for every limb was not black which is supposed to be but white with a tint of indigo.

Their hair was sleek because of the hair gel - I was guessing.

There are robots at the entrance I glimpse from afar to examine if we have any weapons inside we carry, drones that will scan the inside of our dresses and items of luggage, and there prevailed plenty of cameras on the ceiling and walls.

"Eyes on me Boy," The guard said after I place my case on the table so they can swing it into the x-ray luggage scanner while the robot was standing in front of me.

Wayne is next after me.

They check up on me under two minutes before they let me in. Afterward, Wayne was next, we unexpectedly heard a bang of a shotgun next to our spot.

It was so loud that it echoes around the port - gaining much attention to the area where it happens.

"What in the bloody f*ck?!" Wayne yelled while I dropped my jaw on the floor while gazing at the lifeless man on the neat shiny floor where the robot stands before.

"Terrorist! Terrorist! Gun! Drugs! And RDX and C4!" The robot alerted the guards to evacuate all the passengers to the near safety niche.

Some people in the port yelled and some others cried. We need to slither out of the scene.
