Chapter 1: Tears of Dreams

A father and a mother are adoring the only flower that blossomed below their lips that was once tied with white lies.

Yet my brown eyes harmonize where my parents stood together to produce new blood or vitality. I witness their last smile and laugh, as I catch the glimpse of the morning and moonbow light as well the blur at the side of my visions.

I remember and recall my parents often carried me everywhere they go even though I can stand all by myself. "Daddy!" Is the only word I can shout and cry out more when I feel unhappy, hungry, angry, and happy - these feelings were out of nowhere because I am just a kid with a natural life with a diminutive brain yet without knowledge about life neither truth nor love.

The only thing, I can recollect inside of my sanity was there was blood on my little fingers and a taste of the cotton candy that my father bought near the shack on the beach with snow and bright sands, afterward I ate them before this incident when I saw their last sweet gaze upon me.

I gaze at the sky that is wrapped with cumulus pale hazes with a slight blur once again. My smooth pale surface can feel the kisses of euphoria and warmth from my father that years run by - I will never feel it again.

"You want to swim, my little pumpkin? Never mind, your mother will never let you go out in the shallows anyways, but I can make a big castle for you made out with sand within a minute eh?" My father said in a low voice that his minty breath occurred pushing against my cheeks nigh my jaw - it was tickling me so I giggle softly nevertheless peering at the sky.

"Daddy!" My young self yelled while pointing out at the sky with astonishment.

"Yes! It's a big cloud that hides great treasures and heavens" He said with a soft smile I did not turn to see it but my eyes yet glued to the cloud that runs unhurriedly like three turtles competing on the beach.

"Oh look! It's mama! Waving us hello" My father suddenly grabbed my wrist with his fingers clasped from the top and below, so he can move my little hand to respond to my mother from afar.

I heeded running paces, and was getting pressed harshly by the run from my mother, and she can even push the sand in front of her on the sides to create a path.

Within my eyes was the joy that slashed the lines of gazing at the sky after noticing my mother freeing her arms for a hug or obviously a carry.

"Ready for my surprise, little pumpkin?" She stroked my button nose with a giggle of excitement that she poured above me.

My mother slid her forearm below my little buns to carry me using the strength that has left within her after preparing some sort of surprise.

The man of her life smooches her cheek hastily but it was deep that can create like crater hence with the words she will listen before I and her will head to the residence.

My father headed to the colorful tent that matches the hue of the light in the barbershop I passed by yesterday and that tent sells cotton candies and plenty of sweets I can discern from afar with my little sights.

"Mama, Daddy, surprise" I mumbled every word so slow to hear another word will break out from my berry lips.

"Yes yes my little pumpkin, I will never spoil your surprise" My mother whispered the sweet words in my ear while watching every pace on the sand and the road to the Valerione residence.

"Wait for me!" My father yelled at the back, faded holler to boisterous panting, and laid his hand on top of my mother's left shoulder, with a soft smile he expressed but he did not show his teeth at the side of my mother's beautiful facade - I can remember.

"Cotton candy?" My father reached out that he bought from the tent - little I do know it was my favorite so I clasped the cotton candy that equally looks like the sky that shifts to dusk, and I patiently loiter to see it crushed against my little fingers inside my palm.

They laughed and proceeding their care duty by escorting me to their whatever surprise is.

The pavements are crowded with business people, busy society, and homeless ones.

A glint of afternoon strikes upon the building's facade and poured its glow above the trees that lined up in the middle of the pavements.

My father was at the back of my mother to prevent himself from getting bumped by someone.

My mother suddenly, shelter my head with her hand as the feisty grey hue sharp at the tail, silver as mercury at the side of the rear mirrors and the window was black as the feathers of a raven automobile flew past above us that made everyone's hair fly behind and to the right side of their scalp- like someone flings a sharp wind using a hair blower.

"The Criemsons are here, do they know about her or figured it out?" my father whispered on my mother's shoulder.

"Four years they did not know about our child, it is better to stay out of it rather than lose our only pumpkin" she responded while she nonetheless drapes my forehead with her warmth.

"What if they find out? we use their stuff to upgrade her, luck save our *ss there"

"Watch your lips! Their stuff is our work as well as our pals and they did not even give the authorities and royal members a credit for us and especially what we establish for them including the tiny chip, serum, and ideas for a better future they say or so forth" my mother pull her sweet voice in the depth of her throat nonetheless lowering her voice in a crowded area.

"Yeah babe, you talk sense but they do not care about our plans and ideas, they will, however, snatch out our creations inside our heads without mercy and pity within themselves, their priority is the money, not our hard work nor life, we use their stuff to create what we were objectively given by them"

"You are right baby, it is better we give our child the best life she could ever have" my mother smiled as well as my father after peering their eyes at me with love that hides with suffering they desire to end it.

The building at Athena St. near the markets of Olympian is our residence while the other boulevard is the houses owned not rented by the people with money.

The color of our residence or flat is white as the clouds I saw earlier. The concrete grey ash walls that insured the residence were fifteen feet tall or shorter than fifteen.

"We are almost there sweetie" she whispered with happiness she kept up for me.

Some of the wardens at the gate - taller than my father asked for my parent's identification before going into the residence.

The residences were ensured by the high members of Valerione like guarding the sole vault in the bank.

"Face please," the man said with a voice that will stay my soul up in the twilight and my mother strive to comfort me through the night.

"Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, please come in, happy birthday Vega by the way" the man greeted me little self after bowing in front of my parents before we take ourselves in.

"Thank you, Jacob," my father said in a low voice before raising his thick brows simultaneously yet he carries his nervousness about the criemsons as always, day by day or night by night.

I am really curious whilst the moment we move into the residence even though my parents have good money in their pockets that it is too good to throw it on the blaze.

The halls exist not crowded but quiet and more peaceful than outside - like my parent are too scared to take another step on the floorboards.

My mother pass me to my father slowly to get her keys after landing in front of the door made out of tough birch wood that was designed in an old carving way.

The jingles of the key I can hear next to her, which make me sleepy makes me feel more likely to faint on my father's chest from how the aura is hitting me with boredom and especially drowsiness.

My father moves his forearm up and down and there goes another up and down that makes my eyes weary.
