I wonder why that lady hasn't called me or visited me yet. It has been three days already and I was really hoping that she would lead us to my brother but she clearly wasn't interested in the money.

My parents never acted the same way again…probably because they had given up.

Rumors had spread that my brother was dead already and as usual my parents used work as an excuse to cover up their pain.
