Chapter 133

Clouds gathered around the full moon, and thunders roared across the sky. The lightning kept striking the ground while the timbers in the forest burned. Fire scattered rapidly to every tree and wild grasses. Zev was standing still as he watched everything slowly turned into ashes, leaving his old self alone in deep sorrow and regret after realizing what he did.

“Zev! ZEV!” It was the deity Layla’s voice, calling his old self in the midst of the burning woods. She was in tears when she stumbled on the dead bodies on the ground. Holding her chest in pain, she lifted her head to see Zev kneeling, his body covered in blood. “Zev!” Layla exclaimed and came rushing to the man who was in a daze.
