Tale 48: Smile

“’twin… sister’…” Reiner muttered, stunned, when he heard what Shane said. Then, he immediately recovered his expression as he recalled that he has to keep his younger brother’s secret about turning into a younger sister! “Yes, yes… Stella… She is Stelle’s twin sister.” He said. It was obvious that he lied. He avoided Shane’s gaze so that the other won’t see in his eyes that he is lying.

Shane’s lips curled up. “Oh.” He muttered and smiled at Reiner before he turned to look at ‘Stella’ who was hiding behind Reiner. “Hello!” he greeted ‘her’.

Stella, or Stelle, felt like the more that he looks at ‘Sheinna’s smile, the more familiar it is. Not to mention that ‘Sheinna’s face is similar to his elder brother’s best friend – Shane. And thinking of Shane, Stelle now recalled that ‘Sheinna’s smile is like Shane’s smile! That creepy smile when Shane bullied him before!
