"Are you going to come to school tomorrow?" I asked Bethany as we came out of the subway.
"About that..." She mumbled breathing out a sigh. "I don't think am ready to face Neol yet!"
I shoved my hands inside my hoodie and breathed out heavily. "Relationship is way more complicated than I assumed," I thought to myself. "So you are going to miss class tomorrow?"
She gave me a sluggish nod and pouted almost immediately. "My little baby is going to miss me!" She whimpered, drying the phony tears from her eyes.
"Oh really?" I asked with a smile.
"Of course, am the only friend you have!" She boasted, nudging her hair across her ear. "I mean who else can keep up with you," she gave me a soft hit on my shoulder, grinning from ear to ear.

I woke up to the loud blaring of my alarm, I lazily reached out to slam it shut. The clock on my nightstand registered 5:43 am, Reminds me that once again I had woken up before the rest of the household.
