I let out a loud groan as I walked into the house, I leaned against the door completely exhausted.

'It's unlike you to come home late!" My aunt voiced out. I turned to see her sitting in the living room, leg crossed, with a glass of wine.

"Stop sounding like we have lived together for ages, it been just two days."

"You don't have to remind me," she grinned, swirling her cup of wine.

"Sorry if I got you worried," I slumped on the couch, a loud grunt dashed out of my lips.

Aunt Christina gazed at me for a while before shaking her head.

"It's anything wrong?" I asked and she let out a sigh.

"Have you spoken with your parents recently?"

"Um... No!"

"I see. Did you even wonder why I came here even though I knew your parents weren't around?"

"Did something happen?" I asked, curiosity roaming in my bones.
