Transaction

“Ugh... this is making me nervous,” muttered Ivo as he prepared his weapons.

He was now in a hotel in Russia. The hotel's location was strategic because it was near the port, where Robert and the Blood Mafia would carry out their transaction. At least, that was the information he had received from his father.

Once again, he reminded himself how dangerous this mission was. It was a very dangerous mission because many people wanted the mind control chipset. Including the mafia, the government, hitmen, and other dangerous people. He had to be very careful in his actions, as a single mistake would mean dealing with all of them.

This made him quite nervous, but he would still finish it.

The good news was that he already understood the conditions at the old port where Robert and the Blood Mafia would conduct their transaction. He already knew the ins and outs of the place, so he was confident that he would be able to use this knowledge to his advantage. In addition, the old containers there could also be used for protection. It would be a very tricky and tense battlefield.

“Pistol, sharp weapons, bulletproof vest. Everything is ready,” Ivo muttered, then took the bulletproof vest and put it on. He tucked his pistol and sharp weapons inside, then covered them with a black jacket.

Okay, everything was ready. He looked like a typical introverted teenager. This would allow him to blend in easily with the community. Disguise was very important here.

Finally, Ivo took his gadget, a cell phone he had modified to have more functions and be easier to use for hacking. It was very compact, making it easy to carry around. This would help him in his mission.

Ivo sighed, preparing himself mentally. “I will definitely return home safely, and that chipset will be in my hands.”

He walked towards the mirror and looked at his reflection. His clothes were perfect. The black jacket he was wearing also effectively concealed the bulletproof vest and weapons inside it.

Suddenly, a notification sounded on his gadget. Ivo immediately looked at his gadget, and from one of the CCTV cameras he had hacked, he saw Robert walking towards the abandoned port. This meant that the mad scientist was about to begin his transaction.

“Alright, let's complete this mission well, Ivo.” He muttered to himself after making sure everything was perfect. Then he stepped out of the hotel and immediately left to complete the mission.

At the same time, a hitman, who was none other than Cylo, was at a hotel in Russia located near the port. This was an order from Chelsea, as she claimed Robert and the Blood Mafia were planning a transaction involving a mind-controlling chipset at the old port nearby.

Cylo's mission was now very clear: he had to take part in the fight for the mind control chipset and then destroy it to maintain world stability. There was nothing else he had to do but destroy it. Don't let anyone get the chipset.

And the good news—whether it was good or bad news—was that this time, he was accompanied by a colleague who was also a hitman like himself. His name was Maki, a black man who had been on missions with him before. However, they only carried out missions as ordered by Chelsea and didn't become too involved with each other.

Cylo was an individualist; he preferred to do everything alone. There were no burdens, allowing him to focus on himself. So, to be honest, he felt annoyed by Maki's presence on this mission. But what could he do? These were orders from his sister, so he had to obey.

For your information, Chelsea was a hacker who offered black market services to individuals in the underworld who needed them. Anything, including murder, theft, manipulation of events, and others. And of course, all of that would be carried out by Cylo as the executor. 

As a hacker, Chelsea had several connections to other people in the underworld, including Maki, who was tasked with helping Cylo complete the mission to destroy this mind-controlling chipset.

And, yeah, the point was that Cylo couldn’t refuse anything his sister ordered him to do, including this mission that he had to complete together with Maki.

“Okay, let's get started. Chelsea has sent the coordinates,” said Maki after finishing putting on the casual clothes typical of tourists here.

Cylo glanced at his partner, then nodded. He was also wearing casual clothes that would allow him to blend in easily with the crowd. “Ugh... I hope this guy doesn't burden me during the mission.”

After that, the two men immediately left the hotel room and walked in different directions. They behaved like friends who had just said goodbye to each other to go their separate ways.

Cylo walked to the left, and Maki walked to the right. By splitting up like this, they would be able to spy on Robert from two sides, thereby increasing their effectiveness in completing this mission. In addition, they could also protect each other if the situation became really critical.

Cylo walked casually while blending in with the locals. Occasionally, he would look around, afraid that someone was following him. So far, everything was under control. It didn't take long before he saw Robert accompanied by a man, who was probably his bodyguard. 

“He seems to be taking this transaction too lightly,” he muttered, then began to follow Robert and his bodyguard from behind. And the mind control chipset seemed to be inside the suitcase they were carrying.

Cylo continued to follow his two targets as they walked towards the abandoned port. He focused entirely on them, but occasionally he would also look around, wary that someone might be watching him too. Because, really, he felt like someone had been following him all this time.

And sure enough, when he shifted his gaze to one of the rooftops, he could clearly see someone dressed in black. That person seemed to be watching Robert and his guard as well.

“Tsk, this transaction will indeed be a battlefield,” he muttered, then crept back to follow Robert and his guard's movements.

Before long, Cylo finally entered the abandoned port area. He hid behind an old container while continuing to watch Robert and his guards' movements. He had already taken out his gun, ready for anything that might happen during this transaction.

At the same time, Maki continued to watch Robert and his guards from another direction. He was opposite Cylo, so this position was ideal for him. To provide support or carry out an ambush. Indeed, working with more people can increase effectiveness. 

In addition, by wearing casual clothes, Maki was able to blend in easily with the locals here. So he didn't stand out and was able to disguise himself as much as possible. In fact, the locals would not even be aware of what he was doing.

Robert and his guards continued walking, while Maki followed from the other direction. He completely hid his presence and continued to stalk them, focusing on nothing else. The suitcase Robert was carrying also looked very tempting. He couldn't even imagine the full potential of that mind-controlling chipset.

“Tsk, if I get the chance, I'll just take the chipset for myself.” Maki grinned as he continued to watch his two targets.

And soon, he entered the abandoned port area. The information from Chelsea was completely accurate; the details of the place and time were exactly right. So he didn't miss anything to take part in this crazy transaction.

“It seems that the scientist only knows how to make dangerous tools, but is too stupid to know how to protect himself,” muttered Maki, who was still following Robert and his guard.

This was a very important transaction, but Robert only brought one guard. It was completely insane. It was as if he didn't value his own life. Even though many people wanted his dangerous device, he didn't consider how the transaction would go. 

But who cares? Maki and Cylo, who were both after the chipset, could take advantage of this. Robert's lax security would make it easy for them to ambush him.

The entire area of this abandoned port was quite large, with a lot of open space. This place had been completely abandoned by the locals, so it was really quiet, with no people in sight.

However, not far from this abandoned port, a new, much larger and busier port had emerged. There were many people there, making it a potential place of escape if the situation here became very precarious.

Maki looked at Cylo's coordinates across from him. With this, their position was ideal because they were ambushing Robert and the Blood mafia, who were going to make a transaction in the middle of them. Their hiding place was also very comfortable, allowing them to clearly observe the transaction.

But Maki's wild thoughts continued to buzz in his head. He was blinded by greed; the mind control chipset was right in front of him, and his position was also very comfortable. So the possibility of him getting the chipset was very high. “Tsk, I'm sorry, Cylo, Chelsea, it looks like I'm going to take that chipset for myself.”

Maki began to prepare his weapon, without taking his eyes off Robert and his guard. However, unbeknownst to him, a man wearing a black jacket had been following him from behind. The man was also preparing himself behind him with his pistol.

And yeah, it seemed that soon this abandoned port would become an uncontrollable battlefield.
