Kate jerked awake in her sleep. She felt as if she were being suffocated. That's when she realized she was being hugged by a massive arm. She moved, but her entire body hurt. When she remembered what had happened, her eyes widened. Of course, she rolled her eyes.
Despite her aching muscles, she drew herself up and prepared to leave.
She still had a flight to Hawaii scheduled for the evening, and it was nearly noon. It was still early, but she was getting ready to leave right away because she was afraid of waking him up, so she carefully changed.
She took a bundle of cash from her purse and placed it on the side table before exiting the room. She had a fantastic night last night. And she was aware that the room was expensive, so she would have her fair share.
She gave him one last look.
You're extremely attractive and handsome, and you're a master in bed. I did not make a mistake in seducing you last night. I hope that I'll never see you again!
Thinking that she might not see him again, she left a remembrance in the bed. With a naughty grin, she turned around gracefully and left the room that witnessed her one-night stand with a stranger.

Kate awakened when the plane jolted.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your pilot speaking. Embrace yourself for turbulence. Please return to your seats and fasten your seatbelts."
Kate grimaced and tightened her seatbelt in response to what she had heard. She has nothing to be concerned about because the turbulence was expected.
She decided to sleep again after some time had passed with no further turbulence. However, she had not yet fallen asleep when she heard a loud explosion, and the cabin was engulfed in smoke. The plane jolted repeatedly, and passengers began to panic.
"The plane was on fire!"
Kate was stunned. Her eyes widened as she searched for the parachute she could use to flee. When she finally got it, she put it on and looked around the smoke-filled cabin.
Another explosion was heard, the plane shaken, and the once-calm cabin devolved into chaos. Luggage was strewn everywhere, screams and cries filled the air, and the wind was howling.
The exit door!
Kate turned to look for where the wind was coming from. She saw the plane crews assisting the other passengers using the parachute and others were already jumping off the plane. She carefully walked toward the exit but the plane's movement and strong winds made her move slowly. She bumped into the people who were panicking, trying to escape the fire that started to engulf the plane.
Until finally, she reached the exit door.
With her trembling body, she gripped the door and looked at the vast sea that would catch her body.
Lord, I told you I don't want to die a virgin. But not because I was devirginized last night, you'll get me already!
She silently prayed before she jumped off.
A scream of terror escaped from her mouth before the parachute opened and controlled her landing. However, she was not farther from the plane yet when it exploded again.
Her parachute was almost destroyed by the fire. The plane fragments from the explosion punctured her parachute as well. Making her fall at a high rate of speed.
"Oh my God, No!"
Kate's pupils dilated. She writhed in unbearable pain as some parts fell into her body and others struck her head, causing her to bleed.
It was excruciating. She was dizzy. But the terror she felt as she fell from the sky caused her body to tremble in fear.
Until, in her own eyes, the plane had its final blow.
It was terrifying. She figured if she hadn't jumped off already, she'd be burning and turned to ashes by now. However, it didn't lessen the anxiousness she was feeling.
She would land on the sea!
Her body shivered when she felt the coldness of the sea on her body. The water around her became heavier, and the sea current dragged her deeper. The light she saw began to fade until there were no longer any lights surrounding her.
She was controlling her breathing, but she was becoming increasingly desperate for air. She was struggling. She tried to kick, but her body screamed in agony. Her entire world was spinning. She was already bleeding and injured. She couldn't take it any longer. Her heart was throbbing.
She breathed, but it was painful because of the water she had inhaled.
Her body felt numb. Until she finally succumbed to darkness by allowing the sea to engulf her injured body.

Yael was extremely irritated. He awoke without the woman she had slept with the night before, and she had even left him cash as if to reward him for his performance. What irritated him, even more, was that he had forgotten to ask for her name.
He wouldn't deny that he was satisfied. It was his first time sleeping with a woman without prior experience, though she didn't appear to be one.
She even left me with remembrance. He chuckled. He could not believe that he would even take that with him when he returned to the island.
It was not bad visiting the city, though.
He rescheduled his flight because he awoke late, which was fortunate. After all, the plane he was supposed to ride with had crashed. When he arrived at the airport, he noticed that all of the rescuers were preoccupied with reviving the passengers who had jumped from the plane. The island port where he had docked his private jet boat was also crowded.
He received word from his island's caretaker that he would assist in the rescue of the victims once he returned. With this in mind, he hurriedly boarded his boat and drove to his island, his refuge from the chaos of the outside world.
He arrived on the island after half an hour and saw the caretaker patiently waiting for him.
"Sir, welcome back!"
"Thank you. Are you leaving now?"
"Yes sir! There's also a typhoon coming, good thing that you arrived earlier."
"Alright. Used this then. I'll just call you again once I leave."
The caretaker nodded and took the keys he had given him. The caretaker knew he rarely used it, so he left it in his care.
"I've already prepared your monthly supply."
Yael nodded and watched him walk away before turning around.
He was on his way home when he noticed a figure lying on the shore not far away. When he remembered the plane crash, he immediately assumed she was one of the passengers and dashed to save her.
The woman was facing the other side so he didn't see her face. He knelt and placed his hands on her shoulders.
"Miss?"
He carried her because she was not responding. However, once he had her in his arms, he was rooted. His mouth parted in surprise, and his eyes were wide open.
His gaze remained fixed on that familiar seductive face. The face that brought him to high heavens several times that night!
“Deal?” Kate’s seriousness was replaced by a mischievous grin as she asked Kael. Her left eyebrow was even raised.Kael’s lips curved into a smile. It’s not really her request that arose his interest. He was already expecting that. It’s the thought that she volunteered to help him convince his brother. His gaze fell down on Kate’s hand waiting for his handshake. She’s so confident. “Deal.” He accepted her hand and squeezed it. Let’s see…“So…”“Hmmm?”“When are you planning to invite him over? Why don’t you invite him
“I heard that before…” Kate whispered. She remembered those times when she was easily duped to marry him. She once believed them.“I understand, Hope. It’s not that I don’t want to let you go, but I also don’t have a choice.” Kael leaned on the chair with his arms crossed. Seeing her confused look, he added, “We need to remain married, Hope. This will benefit us both.”Kate was perplexed. Her brow furrowed with a mix of surprise and curiosity.“You filed a divorce when you learned that my parents were already dead. I assume it was because you thought that their promise would not be fulfilled, right?”Kate absentmindedly nodded as she waited for him to continue.
Hope?Kate's heart raced as she desperately turned around until her eyes finally landed on the owner of that voice. “K-Kael?”Standing right in front of her was a man who exuded an air of undeniable handsomeness, arrogance, and dominance. It was a combination that both admired and repelled her at the same time. The intensity of his presence made her pulse quicken, and she couldn't help but wonder if he was the man she married. Questions flooded her mind like a torrential downpour, leaving her feeling both apprehensive and intrigued. He looked familiar.Funny! Kate wanted to laugh at herself. He was her husband, but it was the only time that they met. Suppressing her thoughts, she decided to wait for him to approach her and
I have to… Kate felt her weight getting heavier as she walked toward the rescue boat that had been waiting for her. You must do what is right. She talked to herself as she sighed heavily. She didn’t know what to do. Not really, she actually knew. She needed to fix the mess she created and must be responsible for the consequences of her actions. She just didn’t know where to start and the deep gaze she felt from behind didn't help her to decide at all. It seemed to pierce through her like a thousand sharp needles, reminding her of the happy events that had unfolded on the island that she was about to leave behind, for an unknown exact reason, she was about to know. She took a deep breath, trying to compose herself. With each step she took, the sa
"R-Rescuers?"Kate was finally able to decipher what was written on their shirts. "A-Are they here for me?!" She looked up at Yael, her voice tinged with excitement.Yael, on the other hand, firmly gripped her hand. He looked so serious. He kept looking intently at the rescuers arriving with a hint of dismay until his eyes fell on a familiar figure. As the rescuers finally stepped foot on the island, Yael's eyes fell on their companion who was running toward them. Without waiting for him to speak, he already asked, "Who are they, Carlos?"Carlos trembled as he heard the irritation in Yael's voice. He quickly stepped forward and answered, "They're looking for someone, Sir Yael!" Carlos assumed that Yael was irritated because he hated being disturbed on the island. H
"You really don't want to come with me?" Yael repeatedly asked Kate who had not been paying attention to him."I said, I don't wan---" Kate faced him pissed but halted when she noticed what he was holding. Is he planning to---Yael smiled sheepishly when she noticed Kate's reaction. I knew it!"Are you going to catch a fish?" Kate exclaimed. She ran up to him, but he just shrugged and turned his back on her."What else?" Yael asked, holding the fishing rod as if to state the obvious.Kate rushed after him, clutching his arms. "You should have told me earlier!" Kate kept grinning.Yael frowned. "I've been asking you…""Yeah! But you didn't inform me right away!""So, it's my fault now?""Well… Of course!"Yael shrugged his arms and walked fast, leaving Kate behind. Why is he sulking?"Hey! Don't leave me here! I'm coming with you!" Kate dashed after him, grabbing his arms once more. "May I join you?" she inquired sweetly."...""I'm coming with you!""...""I'll accompany you!""...""
