*Raya And Humphrey*

They had spent the day walking, the forest slowly thinning out until they reached a clearing by a mirror-still lake.

Since their old home was far away, they decided to build a new one. They worked together quietly, his hands gentle, her hum soft as new branches woven into a sturdy lean-to made of driftwood and moss. A far better refuge for tonight.

Once the shelter stood complete, the sun sank low, spilling molten gold across the lake. Raya stepped back to admire their work, the bond pulsing between them louder than the rustle of the forest. Humphrey lowered a branch into place and sighed.

“Nice work,” he said, voice low.

She turned, water shining on her skin. “I couldn’t have done it without you.”

He met her gaze, amusement and something softer shining in his eyes.

She hesitated. He was still damp from the stream rescue. She thought of his shirtless form, still fit with battle-won scars, the way his chest rose and fell so quietly now. She wondered how a Rogue was th

The dawn light crept through the boughs above their campsite, brushing Humphrey’s resting face with amber. He lay half-awake, muscles relaxed, one arm draped over the silken curve of Raya's side. She smiled softly in sleep, nostrils flaring with his scent. He leaned in, brushing a fingertip across her cheek, tracing the iridescent patterns that still pulsed faintly. “Good morning little siren, hope you dreamt of me,” he whispered. She stirred, opened her eyes to meet his. For a moment, time held its breath. She pinched the bridge of his nose, she couldn't answer with her lips, but the pinching did the talking for her.She felt it,that soft undercurrent of love, warm and dangerous and so deliciously real.He seemed to feel it too, brushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear. She leaned into his touch, hope thrumming in her chest. He pressed a soft kiss on her forehead.********They rose together as the sun spilled gold across the forest floor. He offered her the last roasted root-fruit

I gulped when I heard those words and to be honest,I didn't want him to be done.“You didn't think I was done worshipping this body did you?” He asked, his brow arched.“Carry on Mr,I think my cunt will dry soon if you delay.”“Was it wet for me?”I bit my lip,I just exposed myself, He smirked at me,knowing fully well that he just hit the bull's eye. He leaned down, maintaining maddening eye contact.“Silence isn't an answer, little siren.” I parted my lips to say something but a whimper came out instead of words. The way he makes me speechless without even trying is crazy.“I guess I will have to find out for myself.” He said lazily. One hand slides up my thigh, pushing the hem of my dress up as he goes. I tremble in anticipation, knowing where he's heading. Knowing I want him there. A breathy sigh escaped my lips. His hand slid lower, brushing against the heat of me, and before I could catch my breath, his fingers lingered in the slickness he had found. “What do we have here…are thos

He kissed me like his life depended on it, like I was the very air he’d been starved of for far too long. His lips moved against mine with a desperate kind of tenderness, rough at the edges yet careful, as though one slip of control would shatter the fragile world around us.Every brush of his mouth was a plea and a claim, his tongue sliding against mine in a rhythm that stole the strength from my knees. I could feel the tremor in his body, the way his jaw tightened, the way his hand fisted the sheets instead of my hips,as if anchoring himself, as if the only thing keeping him from breaking was the kiss itself. Who knew a kiss felt this hot. He hasn't even touched me and I feel so drowned in pleasure. He poured everything into it,his hunger, his restraint, his silent confession, and in that moment, I believed it, he was breathing me, needing me, surviving me. This is what I have been so stupid to see,to feel. Damn you Raya.A soft whimper slipped from my throat, betraying me, betraying

Raya’s POV Night had fallen, but the shadows didn’t silence what was growing inside me. The training should have left me exhausted, yet every nerve in my body remained alive, buzzing, restless. All I could think about was him. The sting of his grip earlier, the way his fingers locked around my wrists as if they belonged to him. The heat of his chest pressed to my back, his rough voice dragging instructions into my ear in a growl that was more command than lesson.I hated that my body remembered him more than the training itself. Every movement of his was burned into me,an imprint I couldn’t shake. The cave was still, the only sound that was heard was the steady drip of water somewhere outside the cave.I turned to peek at him.The light from the little opening didn’t just fall on him. It crowned him.I should’ve turned away. Instead, I stared. My eyes feasted on him. Why did he look more tempting tonight? I turned back to face the wall, trying to pull myself together. I should be thi

The first rays of dawn sliced through the little shelter where two survivors slept. The rays painted the forest in gold and green. Raya’s eyes fluttered open to a silence deeper than any she’d ever known. She stretched, expecting her hands to hit the irresistible man who saved her from drowning but Humphrey wasn’t beside her. Instead, the shelter was empty, she was alone. Did he leave her so that she could learn her lesson of not slipping out of bed early in the morning without letting him know?.She sat up, pulse racing, the orbit of last night’s prophecy still vivid in her veins. The world felt bigger now, charged with unseen power. She rose, brushing damp strands of hair from her face, and stepped out.***********Raya's POVThe landscape drew my breath away. Mist curled over a meadow of pale blue flowers, each petal flickering with faint radiant pulses. The trees glowed at their tips, and the air hummed like something alive, awaiting a command.I raised my arms to the sky, feeling
