Chapter Ninety-Nine

Zora was speechless, her mind racing with questions. She stared at Sophie in disbelief, prompting Sophie to quickly interject, "Please, don't tell Mommy about it."

Nodding absentmindedly, Zora mulled over Sophie's request, still trying to process the unexpected revelation. Sophie turned her gaze to the window, silently hoping for one last glimpse of Aidan, but the car pulled away, leaving her to wonder about the wonderful mysterious man who had crossed her path once again.

Later in the day, Karina's fingers danced over the keyboard as she navigated through her system, her focus momentarily broken by Gina's entrance.

Gina's playful tone drew a smile from Karina as she teased, "Fashionably late, aren't we, Karina? The mighty CEO and heiress of Everhardt Group."

Karina chuckled, giving a light-hearted excuse. "Blame it on the unpredictable traffic today. Took a wrong turn and almost got lost."
