Fenrir
It started as a dull ache at the back of my head then it grew into sirens that rang in my ears, jolting me awake.Everything hurts my back, my head….oh, my head. The scenery before me was as white and clear. Slowly I realized I was in a forest, covered in layers of snow. I was cold, I was hurt. But most importantly, I was confused. I had no idea how exactly I got to the forest, what I was doing sitting on a snowy ground with no clothes, or where I came from.“Where exactly am I? What happened to me?”I groaned as I tried to pick myself up from the ground, but I was immediately blinded by the light that was illuminating everywhere.I looked up to see the bright Full Moon, it was dazzling. In fact, I had never seen the Moon shine so brightly. I wanted to appreciate it a little, but I was not in the right state of mind.I heaved a deep breath as I pushed myself painfully to lean on the bark of a tree, “you can do this, Fenrir.” Yeah, I could do this.I could…. wait, what did I just call myself? Fenrir. Is that my name? It had to be if I subconsciously remembered it. Fenrir, my name is Fenrir.I was glad to have remembered my name, but when I tried to remember other things, I found it very difficult. Instead, all I got was a deep sharp pain piercing my brain like a needle.I couldn't remember a damn anything. My brain felt heavy and useless, so I tried to use my other senses.I sighed sadly as I took a deep breath, my nose tingling instantly at a strange scent. Whatever it was that wafted through my nose smelled wonderful. So damn terrific that I had to sniff the air again, but I couldn’t determine the scent until I took a deep sniff at my torn and messy shirt. It was the scent of a flower, a rose… a wild rose. But this scent didn't come from me. It was lingering around me, but not from me, as the owner of the scent had been around me.I had a feeling it was the red-haired lady who had pushed away the snow from my body. The sudden remembrance jolted my brain and it shocked my entire body. I recalled something! It wasn't something from long ago, but a recent memory. Someone had been here, a vague memory of a young lady, with red and flowing hair.I couldn't make out her face but I could remember her scent, the same scent that was tingling in my nose. Wild roses.“Who was she? Why did she help me?”I was very curious to know about all these, maybe she knew where I came from or what I was doing here. Maybe—“Ahh!” I screamed when I felt sudden pain inflicted on me. My body was jolted forward, and I fell with both hands on the cold snowy ground. What was happening to me?I felt something hot coursed through my veins. Oh, heavens...what was happening? Was I dying? My legs felt weak, and I let out a loud groan. I attempted to stand up, but my body wouldn't cooperate. It was as if my limbs had a mind of their own.In my state of confusion, fear, and agony, I glanced upward and noticed something peculiar in the sky—the Moon. Its glow intensified, and I could actually feel its rays touching me.Something weird came over me. I attempted to yell, but instead, a fierce growl escaped my lips. It was absolutely insane! This sensation is completely new to me.I was down on all fours now, in a very strange position, and I knew something strange was definitely happening to me. I just didn't know what it was or if I was possessed. Why did I feel like I was dead, but I'm now alive? Was I alive because of this? The rays of the Moon strangely begin to suppress me, taking over me, and turning me into something I knew I wasn’t.All of a sudden, my canines started to grow longer and little hairs began to sprout from my skin. But when I finally glanced at it, those weren't just tiny hairs. I saw a whole bunch of hair, a deep golden hue—it was fur!I was about to scream my lungs out this time, but immediately, my throat felt dry, and my eyes were overshadowed with darkness. They snapped open- my eyes. I looked around sharply, suddenly realizing I was still where I was a few minutes ago. But I wasn’t who I was anymore. I was a wolf. A terrifying one!I felt strange, I felt powerful….I felt rage. A burning rage of blood. To slaughter. The excitement that came upon me was overwhelming. I opened my mouth to yell my fury, but all that came out was a loud powerful growl and a howl. This time I couldn’t think about it.Heck, I couldn’t think about anything, all I could focus on was the maddening anger and raging bloodthirst that had thoroughly dominated me.My sharp paws dug into the snowy ground as I took off, running with incredible speed. I couldn't believe how effortlessly my body moved, like the wind itself. It felt like I was one with the wind, the gentle touch of the breeze against my fur.To my surprise, my insatiable thirst for blood remained unquenched. Despite the darkness of the night, my vision was keen, allowing me to see things from a distance. As I ventured away from the snowy wilderness, I spotted a grand house ahead of me. It stood proudly amidst a cluster of smaller dwellings, its imposing presence casting a shadow over the others. There is a celebration. I could easily tell with the large crowd surrounding the house and the lively sounds emanating from within it. It's clear that the celebration was in full swing. As I approached the magnificent structure, my eyes were drawn to the dazzling display of bright lights and vibrant decorations. The air was filled with the infectious melodies of cheerful music, and a constant stream of people flowed in and out of the house, their smiles radiating joy and excitement. Somehow, instead of bringing me comfort, those smiles infuriated me and increased my blood thirst. As I edged closer, I saw something strange, some of those people were turning into wolves…they were werewolves! Before I could even question my own sanity, an overwhelming surge of rage consumed me, propelling me forward with an unstoppable force. With no regard for reason or consequence, I sprinted into the house at an astonishing speed, my presence a blur to those around me. The frenzy within me grew, driving me deeper into the heart of the celebration. It took a few minutes before anyone realized my presence. Their concentration was on the huge cake that was being rolled into the middle of the vast room.“Amazing,” someone said.Soon enough, I heard the sounds of lips matching over the sight of the cake and that infuriated me.“Now, let's call out the beautiful celebrant to cut her….hey, who are you?”“Finally, they see me.” The thought was appealing to my bloodthirst.I didn't wait for my presence to register in their heads before I growled, and bounced on the nearest person. I instantly tore him apart with my sharp claws and watched him wriggle as blood dripped out of his slit neck.Blood.I wanted to see more blood!I began pouncing on anyone and everyone. Their harsh screams penetrated my ears, but it didn't stop me, it only made me thirstier. A handful of them were down in a few minutes, and some of them started turning into a similar form as mine. I felt intrigued and dared.“How dare they think they can battle with me?”I noticed there was a bigger one among them, it was a large gray wolf. I could remember he was a big, averagely tall man before. Even as a wolf, he still stood to protect the woman beside him. No man or wolf was beside him. I had killed them all.The gray wolf may seem intimidating, but not to me. At all. It was probably because of the power that was currently possessing me.I snapped and growled, then jumped on his gray fur. He battled me, I could give him that, but it didn't take long before I snaked past him, and slit his neck with my sharp claws.I watched him fall heavily on the floor and a satisfying growl escaped me before I picked the small woman up, and tore her apart like I did her protector or perhaps her lover.Any sense of humanity had left me. I couldn’t feel any remorse. If, at all, I could feel a thing, it was satisfaction as my dark eyes roamed around the house that was now filled with the stinky smell of blood and wounded bodies.Just as I was about to unleash a strangely satisfying growl, a delightful fragrance filled the air - the unmistakable scent of wild roses.Marsai's POV “Yes, child. To be specific, it is coming from inside of you.” He pointed to my belle. I stared at my own goddamn stomach. It looked just fine to me from the layers of clothes I was wearing. Then I looked back at him. There was nothing to say or do than to stare at each other for quite some time. I sighed and slouched my back, tired of the repetitive problems that kept coming after me. Everyone just did what they wanted to do to me without caring for the consequences. Why? Was it because I was too available or my heart was good to a fault? “Why is this happening to me..” I almost choked from the lump of tears that slipped down my right cheek. Why was it that I just had to be crowned with the edge of bad timing? Once again, there was no one to blame but Fenrir. In a flip second, Imon was up on his feet, sitting next to me. A comforting hand rubbed gently against my back as I felt him lower his head closer to my ears. “Don't be sad, child. You should feel honored.
Marsai's POV “Because You think loudly with your body...Just like Namilla.” He mentioned, staring me straight in the eye. “I never knew Namilla on a personal level, she was good to me and she taught me to see the good in everyone regardless of the evil in the world.” I replied without stuttering. All of these things were true. When my father rescued Namilla even against the wishes of his fellow comrades, he brought her back not just to the infirmary but to the private infirmary that was unique to the Alpha quarters. I was only but a child, so I had no idea who she was, or why the maids and doctors walked on eggshells when they were around her. It was said to be the first time anyone from my Pack has seen a real-life witch aside from all of the folktales we were told about the other creatures of the Dark around us. I decided to personally spend time with Namilla. At first, she was grungy and wouldn't say a word for an entire day while I would tell her all the details of my play d
Marsai's POV “Are you ready to see our leader now?” Grace asked. Her hands folded elegantly in front of her, her expression once again, very stoic that it brought down the temperature around me. I nodded because my tongue felt like it was glued to the roof of my mouth. I took in the scenery around me, the white light and the distant crack in the bonfire who's glow could be spotted from here. If this was my last night here, I would definitely not regret this moment. “This way…” she ushered me up front first before joining me by my side. We walked in silence.I used my Hunter prey technique but I realized that Grace's foot never made a sound as we walked. “It's the moss.” Grace chuckled, shaking her head side to side. “What?” I asked her, feeling even more confused.“You were wondering why our feet weren't making any noise. Well, it is the moss. They are said to be great sound shock absorbers.”I would be lying if I said that I heard every word she said, all I kept wondering was
Marsai's POV We exited the tent and stepped outside. A teenage boy came towards us with a cup filled with water and a small bowl of milk. He gave it to Grace and then gave me a once-over. Curiosity shone clear in his orbs. I was sure it was because he could tell I wasn't from around here so he left gingerly, joining a group of kids that resembled his age range. “That's Ace. He is 12, yet he practices magic spells twice his age. His parents died when he was four from the witch hunt attack by delusional humans…” Grace told me as she handed the cup of water over to me. A lot of questions filled up my head. One was, why was she telling me all of this? Two, did I need to know that piece of information and why was it important? But all of that could wait. I had water to drink from a cup I knew was not gonna be enough and milk from a bowl or the fact that I didn't need to wear any sandals because there was a soft moss carpet that ran through the entire area around me. The entire place f
Marsai's POV Fenrir…Just mentioning his name made me understand that I was really capable of hate. My father's words echoed in my head. “Hate and love aren't on the opposite side. In fact, they follow each other. If you love someone enough to not hate them, you can hate someone enough and still love them. Both emotions come hand in hand because if you love how they make you feel, you would eventually come to hate how they make you feel.” Then, of course it made zero fucking sense. How could you love and hate simultaneously? Now I understand it. Even as the last images of Fenrir punching a hole in Namilla's face terrified me into my sleep, I still in some messed up way managed to see things from his point of view. I shook my head aggressively from side to side. Now isn't the time to be thinking about that monster, you need to get out of here.I reminded myself of my current challenge. I recalled the snakes in the pot and then the unfortunate man who had tricked me with it. The
Elena's POV “Shit…”I looked away as fast as I could, my palm still wrapped around his warm moist cock. I could feel my entire inside melting into a goo of confusion. The center of my legs began to feel hot and moist. “Elena, you can let go of my shaft now.” I heard him say in one of the most monotonous voices I have ever heard. “I'm so so-” “Don't make it any more awkward than it already is. But before that, first things first, why are you here? Who asked you to come here?” Fenrir didn't blink or stutter. His cold voice caused a ripple of fear and anxiety to dress up my spine down to my arm. “No-no one…” I fidgeted. His stans didn't waver as he only came closer to me, his glare becoming more menacing than ever. “I don't stutter. I also don't like to delay my victim's death so when I ask you a question, do not stutter and tell me the answer like it is or I would end up slapping your head off your neck till your skull is gliding in a pool of your own blood.” His cold demeanor onl
