Chapter 22: Amor

Amor was sitting in the office contemplating the thoughts of this new unseen enemy. Till now, he fought big, bad wolves and trained to smash their head, but this new enemy was not what he expected it to be.

When a wolf knows his enemy, they know when and where to attack his weak point, but when there is an unknown enemy, a wolf can only read the danger sign left by him.

Amor visited where Octavio’s man slaughtered the entire pack and left no she-wolves. From the sight in front of his eyes, he could understand that death danced well before taking those poor souls with it.

With the elders of his pack coming together, they summoned every pack member and alerted them of this unpleasant news. These mountains were their home, and from now, every wolf needed to turn into this territory where other members could protect them.

Precautions are better than cures. But something still suffocated Amor’s mind. The enemy was here, and he couldn’t find him.
