Chapter 33: The deadly ones

As the morning sun sparkled above her head, Savannah’s eyes fluttered to welcome the sunlight. Last night’s investigation was enough to reason for her late waking time, and she finally remembered where she saw that house.

It was in her dream. She saw the same house abandoned house in her dream on her birthday. She looked around to share this news with Jenny, but she was not there. Dropping her duvet from her body, she walked towards the restroom to follow her routine, but she remembered something more than that.

It was the day when it all started last month. Today was the full moon night; the last time she remembered, she started feeling sick with a dizzy head and heightened senses to hear everything. Her skin was burning the last time like molten lava.

She unintentionally scanned the mirror, looking at her illusion, which hinted at her usual self. To be assured of her health, she observed her mark, which seemed regular, like her skin color.
