Why was I even trying to deny what was she was offering? Shouldn’t I be happy that she wanted me, even a little? Trying to convince her not to pursue this, was beyond me.

So what if I get hurt in the process? Even a little bit of time with her was far better than none. She was worth the risk regardless of what was to come.
