"Rita, he is the future alpha of his pack. I don't think they would accept him if they knew he liked boys. Beside, I would prefer Rafaele thought I was a rapist than knowing the truth."

Rina sighed, "Rain, I can assure you that your brother would rather you be anything than a rapist"

Rain shook his head, "you promised, you wouldn't tell him. You have to keep your promise" he said desperately.

"Fine, I will keep my promise, I won't tell him about it."

"Thanks." Rain said quietly.

Rina sighed, she had to find a way to help him without revealing his secret.

When Rafaele came home, he met Rina still awake pacing the room.

"I thought you would be asleep" he told her.

"Why are you so late?" she asked him.

"Luna Tyra sent for me to discuss more details about the mating ceremony. I can't let either mom or you go through her anger issues so I went." he explained.

"and how was it?"

Rafaele sighed, "The demands she keep bringing up, one would think we were planning a royal werewolf meeting."

    Rain didn’t say much on the walk back to their room. He kept thinking about how Damien had looked claiming him earlier. He felt so wanted. Damien had always been the perfect boy as far as Rain was concerned. He always kept his emotions under control. And yet today, because of Rain, he had slipped. The thought of it made Rain's blood heat up. Rain glanced at Rain who was walking beside him. He currently looked more composed. Nobody would have guessed that just moments ago, he had been close to assaulting a royal prince. But his eyes were lit with something dangerous. Something eager, hot and furious. Damien could feel the tension simmering between them, crackling like static every time their shoulders brushed.
