Emma decided to get away from the chaos of her new house and check out what the town had to offer at night. She had heard of a popular nightclub, "Elysium," that everyone seemed to be talking about. Dressed in a stunning red dress that accentuated her curves, Emma arrived at the club feeling confident and ready for a night of fun. Even if she knew no one from the town today, it wouldn’t stop her from getting drunk tonight.

Well, she used to have a few friends in this town, but that was 20 years ago and she was just five years old. She doubted she would recognize any of them were she to see them.

As she walked into the club, the dim lights and thumping music immediately drew her in. The atmosphere was electrifying, and Emma felt her heart racing as she made her way to the bar. She got a drink and sat down on a stool to watch the crowd and enjoy the buzzing energy around her.

The club was dimly lit, and smoke machines filled the air with a thick fog. Emma felt a little out of place as she surveyed the scene before her. The club was packed with people dancing, drinking, and chatting with each other. She felt a little like an outsider as she watched them all, not quite sure where she belonged. She was just glad to be around humans after days alone in that creeping mansion her parents left her.

"Hey… Why do I not get a cup of wine for free?" A tiny feminine voice caught Emma’s attention.

She turned to the other side of the counter and saw a young lady just about the same age as her. Emma felt this feeling of familiarity, but she couldn’t picture how she knew that face.

"I am sorry, Lily." "But you don’t get a drink if you have no money," the barman replied politely.

"Please…"  The young lady whined like a kid.

Emma found herself smiling like a fool. She was about to get involved and offer to pay for the drink when suddenly, she felt a strange sensation wash over her. It was as though she was being watched by someone or something, and she couldn't shake off the feeling.

Emma looked around but saw nothing; she tried to brush off the strange feeling and continued sipping her drink, but the sensation only intensified. She began to feel a sense of danger and unease, but she couldn't explain why her senses were reacting that way.

As she turned to face the crowd, Emma noticed a group of people at the corner of the club, all dressed in black with hoodies to cover their heads and looking like they were in some sort of trance. Emma's curiosity got the best of her, and she made her way towards them. When she got closer, she noticed that their eyes were pitch black, and they seemed to be communicating in some kind of unknown language. At first she mistook them for weird drunks, but on a closer look, she feared she was wrong.

Emma was terrified, but she couldn't look away; she wanted to understand what they were doing. Suddenly, one of the figures turned to face her, and Emma found herself locked in a gaze that sent shivers down her spine. The figure approached her, and Emma felt her body freeze in fear.

But just as quickly as it had begun, the figure turned and walked away, disappearing into the crowd like it had never been there. Emma stood there for a few moments, trying to comprehend what had just happened. Was she hallucinating? What were those people, and what did they want from her? Did she even really see them, or was it just her imagination? It was something beyond her understanding.

Emma couldn't shake off the feeling of unease as she quickly stepped out of the club; the strange occurrences she had witnessed inside had left her feeling disoriented. She took a deep breath and tried to steady herself, but her heart was racing and her palms were clammy.

As she looked around, she noticed that the street was empty, save for a few parked cars. She had a sudden urge to get out of there as quickly as possible. But just as she was about to head towards her car, she saw a pair of red eyes in the darkness of the woods opposite the club.

Emma froze in fear, her eyes fixed on the red glow. She tried to convince herself that it was just her imagination playing tricks on her, but the eyes seemed to be staring right back at her. She swallowed hard and took a step forward, calling out to know who it was.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" she said, her voice shaking a little.

But the glowing eyes disappeared into the woods, and Emma was left standing there in confusion. She didn't know what to make of it, but she had a feeling that it was more than just a coincidence.

Emma took a few more steps forward, trying to get a better look, but it was too dark to see anything clearly. She was about to turn back when she heard a rustling in the bushes. She felt a cold shiver run down her spine as she realized that someone or something was lurking in the woods.

She called out again, "Who's there?" Show yourself!"

But there was no response. Emma was terrified, but her curiosity got the better of her, and she couldn't resist the urge to investigate. She took a few more steps forward, and as she did, the rustling grew louder.

Suddenly, she heard a low growl, and the sound sent chills down her spine. Emma froze, her heart pounding in her chest. She knew that she was in danger, and she had to get out of there as quickly as possible.

Emma turned on her heels and ran towards her car. As she fumbled with her keys, trying to unlock the door, she could once again feel that pair of eyes watching her from the woods. She finally managed to get into the car, start the engine, and drive off as fast as she could.

"It is just your imagination, Emma." "Calm down, you are hallucinating from the alcohol," she tried to convince herself, taking deep breaths in and out while speeding down the road.

Her mind was racing as she drove back home. She had no idea what those glowing eyes were or who or what was lurking in the woods. But she knew one thing for sure—it was something out of the ordinary.

As she drove back home, Emma couldn't shake off the feeling that she was being watched and followed. She glanced in the rearview mirror, but there was nothing there. She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. She knew that she had to be careful from now on for her own safety. There was something strange about this town, and she could feel it right in her bone marrow. Maybe she should never have come back here. What was she thinking?

"Feet shoulder-width apart, and make sure your dominant foot is slightly behind the other one."Emma adjusted her stance as he instructed, holding the gun firmly in her hands. She aimed at the tree, her heart racing with anticipation."Now, take a deep breath, and exhale slowly as you squeeze the trigger," Lucas said, his voice calm and reassuring. She did as he said, and the gun went off with a loud bang.
