CHAPTER 10: UNUSUAL SPECIAL TREATMENT.Unlike Ravenhill, I woke up in the morning peacefully, not jerking in fright. The night was freezing cold as far as I was concerned. Despite the thick furry blanket I wrapped myself in like a newborn babe, I still felt the intensity of the cold. CHAPTER 9: STAYING WITHIN BORDERS.Walking down the streets of Winterhill, a man dressed in thick furry clothes walked in the cold of the shimmering night typical of the city. His breath was visible as he panted with every strenuous step he took on the snowy path.Seeing fewer folks on the streets at such a time of the day was the norm. Folks were mostly home, enjoying the warmth they derived within the walls of their homes, while others sought other less chivalrous ways to keep themselves warm.
