Dane’s POV

'You shouldn't have left her,' Lucian scolded me, as if I had committed the worst offense imaginable.

'No, I had to. Don't think I didn't feel you extending our fangs out!' I snapped back, frustration seeping into my voice. 'Make up your mind, Lucian! Is she our mate, or isn't she?'

'I don't know. Don't you think this is frustrating for me too? All I know is that you should have kept her by our side. Instead, you sent her to that shameless Gamma who would be more than willing to do what you wouldn't,' Lucian retorted.
